Half day on New Year's Eve and i left work at around 1pm! Wj came to pick me up before heading to Marina Square to meet the 2-2 peeps! Actually a lot of people couldn't make it, so it was only Zhong Wei (the planner this time), Rachel, Zi Shen, Abie and Yi Kun. They had lunch together which Wj and I didn't join. I joined them for movie, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Wj already watched it so he drove his car home and met us again after the movie. He warned us that it's boring but we went ahead anyway since there wasn't any other nice movies. True though, when it ended everyone had a consensus opinion that it's not our type of movie. It wasn't the worse movie i ever watched so it's not that bad, but the storyline is just mundane i guess. The only thing i really appreciated was the scenery in the movie. Hahaha. Abie agreed with me!
After the movie we went to have dinner at Suntec's Tony Roma! I think it's my first time? They only had the Christmas and New Year Eve menu on that day so we ordered Set B which cost $168++. After adding the 10 % service charge and 7% GST it totaled up to almost $200. But the food was good! And definitely filled 5 of our tummies! (Abie did not join us for dinner since she had to go off soon)

Rachel and Zs have to head off to their countdown concert so i followed Wj and Zw to the mrt. I alighted at Mountbatten and found my way to Tahir's house! I was kinda late since i was supposed to meet Yu Ning at around 6.30pm. I was the last to arrive apparently. Haha. But not bad, i still know my way despite my lousy sense of direction. It's been a year since i last been to Tahir's place uh!
Before i even stepped into the house i could feel the heat! Omg. So since i wasn't eating, i sat on the sofa in the living room instead. Some of the guys like Tahir, Seng Leong, Zhen Wei and Leo came to make conversation with me. Haha. Conversation with Tahir is just catching up with life while with the other guys is just about studies. Mainly about Korea when speaking with Leo. Lol. After the guys started making their way into the living room and the dining room was less crowded and stuffy, i went to join the girls in their conversation! The gossiping group. Hahaha. Then we took group photos before Yu Ning and i left!

3 years since we've graduated from TPJC, but nope, they're still pretty much the same. Lolol.
Said goodbye and went off with Yu Ning since both of us had other plans! I didn't planned to leave so early but since due to some miscommunication, Wj came to Mountbatten earlier than i expected. I think i made him wait for about 30mins before leaving Tahir's place because i was super paiseh to reach late and leave so early. But i felt bad making Wj wait also la.

Anyway i met him because we wanted to catch the fireworks! Tried asking Carol too but she was really determined in staying at home to study. I think Wj asked Lester too but he was with his brother and friends. So it was only 2 of us and we went to find his sister and her bf at somewhere near the Downtown Station! There were lots of people but not as crowded as i thought. But that's mainly because it was still quite early then. 10plus? We found a spot and sat down. Chatted and played games on ipad. I think this is my first time actually talking to Wj's sister in a proper conversation. I think the nice gene runs in the family, she's nice and friendly too! Her bf also not bad lo! Friendly and funny. Hehe.
The wait for the fireworks was really much more bearable than the previous time i waited with my family. That wait was unbearable and the location wasn't all that good (we camped at the flyer). The fireworks was awesome. I love fireworks. :')
There wasn't as much jam as i expected either. The traffic flow wasn't too bad. We walked a distance before taking Bus 51 home!
Yay, thank god for the friends placed in my life! Too precious already. I know i have yet to do up a post summarizing the Year 2013 due to my hectic schedule. But i'll do it soon! And then i'll play cheat by setting that post to 31 Dec 2013. Haha.
