6th Semester, Day 1.

Year 3 Sem 2 officially started for me today. Sian mode but it wasn't that bad because I was used to waking up early already. First time having a lecture at Utown, so I took circle line to Kent Ridge before squeezing onto the shuttle bus to Utown. Reached earlier than Yvette so drop by Starbucks to redeem my long awaited complimentary starbucks drink!

 Chose a hot venti Asian Dolce Latte! It's damn big and red which probably taught the lecturer's attention especially when I was seated in the front row. Drinks were not allowed in the lecture room. Oops. Anyway that's a cute gift from Taiwan given to me from Yvette! So cool and cute right! It says “考试顺利，金榜题名。” And it glows in the dark lo!!! Though not very brightly

So I took GEK1540, Modern Technology in Health and Medicine this semester as my elective. Wasn't what I intended to take in the first place but at least this was cheap (1 point worth) and the angmoh lecturer with big belly seems nice! Plus Thursday lectures do not happen every week except when there's tests! Yay! Got to still come school early this Thursday for dental appointment though....

That huge cup of coffee filled my tummy so I had chocolate waffles for lunch! $1.20 at some Taiwan food store at Utown. I like that it was freshly made, thus hot! Unlike at Arts canteen, but the pandan batter at Arts canteen has more taste....

Break from 12-4pm before attending development law by Prof Alice! Most of us took that module probably because we like the prof instead of the topic. Kind of get the bad feeling that we made the wrong choice because she said things like "Why did you brave souls chose this module when there are 5 other modules to choose from?" and "This is going to be much more complex than land law"

*gulps*

Nevertheless, her lectures are still as interesting as ever and forever so many things to pen down. It's the only module my lecture notes are FULL of words.

Anyway it was really nice to see my uni friends and the familiar friendly faces in school! I think I smiled and waved to at least 3 acquaintances in today alone. Haha, exchanging smiles makes me feel good somehow. Yvette also claimed that my hair is damn short now! Even though my mum and sister beg to differ. Lol.

Also, received a text from colleague in the morning that I need not go back to work on Wednesdays anymore because they found a long term helper. Was perked up from the news but later in the afternoon I received another text that I have to go back because the girl backed out.
Haha. Life likes to make fun of me eh?
