Last friday was just a 2hr lecture and i met mummy and sissy after that for shopping! Initially it was really bad, couldn't find anything that appeal to us and wallet-friendly. But at the end we managed to find some decent stuffs! Really good buys but we ended up buying more for casual wear rather than cny. Haha.
I had to report to work on Sat to help out for an event that they were having. Most of my colleagues couldn't make it that day, so i offered to go back to help instead. While the adults helped with the logistics and smooth running of the entire event, two other customer service staff and I were the 3 people who were supposed to collect the queue numbers given to the customers, have their names and NRIC taken down as well as getting their signatures before giving them $10 frasers centrepoint vouchers and other shop vouchers. There were approximately 500 people so when the clock struck 2pm, we really had to work all the way. No rest or even time to breathe because the long queue of people really stressed me out. So many people bombarding me with questions too. But it was quite fun in the sense that once the event is over the sense of accomplishment is really great! And there's a teamwork feeling that makes me feel good as well. Haha. Joanne treated us to Gong Cha after the whole event to thank us for our work! Hehe. Heard that boss's son having dengue too. Oh man, hope they'll all recover soon. Anyway i'm done with work for real! What's left are my pay, testimonial and drinks which i ordered for cny due to staff sales.
After work that day, i met up with Lester to head to Chinatown. Took me awhile to get hold of him because he didn't reply me or pick up my calls. Thought he was sleeping, but when i asked him about it the reason was actually because he was gaming. -.- I think my expression gave me away so he was like, "You see. Why girls like that one ah. Girls don't like boys to play games is it." So i had to go into this long explanation that it's not that girls don't like guys to play games just that addiction to games is bad. Forgetting to eat, cutting out from the world are just signs of addiction. 我是过来人, so i know. Haha. Anyway, i thought he wanted to go Chinatown to get some cny stuffs but turns out that he just wanted to eat some famous or nice fish over there. Lol. So yeah, we walked around for a bit, getting a bit lost here and there before heading to the hawker centre to have dinner. Fish + vege + orange juice. We were really lucky to get seats at the breezy area given the crowd at that time. Wanted to have desserts at the place which daddy always bring me but lousy me didn't know the exact way. Even after relying on gps we gave up because squeezing from lane to lane at the crowded streets was really no joke. Thank god for good weather, otherwise people like us would be perspiring like crazy already. Took bus 80 home. Now i know can take bus to and from Chinatown!
Met Rachel and Zs early morning next day to go to the CAS shelter at Seletar. Damn ulu but thankfully Rachel gave me and my sister a ride. Spent a few hours for the orientation where they told us more about CAS and their volunteer program as well as bringing us around the shelter, allowing us to bathe, interact and walk the dogs. Sadly, Joshua the little puppy i saw during the adoption drive wasn't in the shelter that day.
Daddy came to pick us thereafter and brought us to eat since sissy and i have yet to eat lunch.

Jalan kayu's roti john! Not up to my expectations leh. The rest of my familiy members ordered the roti prata.
After that daddy brought us to Pandan Loop where Hock Seng Food was having some sales? Bought quite a bit of food since they were selling for quite cheap. Got a bit of the cny feel seeing so many people stocking up so much food and goodies for cny. Haha.
Back to school monday. Sleepy and sian the entire day...

Had Kabi Tang (beef rib soup) for lunch which was pretty awesome! The beef was really soft and the soup was hot enough to keep me warm in the chilly weather! Yums. Wish there was more beef though.
And i did 2 AIA surveys today. Gotta make a note to self not to pick up any anonymous calls. Tutorial balloting was not awesome as usual. Hopefully somehow i can find a way to keep my Wednesdays entirely free. For now, that's hindered by one particular tutorial.
