Managed to watch Catching Fire on Saturday! Thought i wouldn't be able to watch it because my childhood friends postponed our meet up so many times in the end it just got cancelled. Almost wanted to settle with watching it online but i was fortunate enough to have a friend who was willing to accompany me despite not having much interest in it (falling asleep halfway says it all). Lol. Although the movie had been screening for quite some time, we only managed to get seats at the second row.
:/
Before heading out on that day, mummy and i were trying out a new pineapple tart recipe, making use of the pineapple filling that my aunt got us the other time.

Tadah! The end product. I personally think the biscuit part was a tad dry? I only showed my aunt the photos the next day and she complained why i didn't bring them to let her try. Lol. I'm quite fussy uh, i only let people try the good stuffs!
Sunday was family day to celebrate Christmas. And it was also 冬至节, so mummy and i got around making mochi! First time doing it and i'd say it's much more simpler and more fun compared to the pineapple tarts. Haha. Pretty yummy! Only problem is that we have to master the trick to roll them into pretty balls. Cracks makes them look less pretty.

Green tea flavored dough and red bean filling!
Ate a lot of food at granny's place as usual. Somehow most of the food are salty? No idea why. So weekend zoomed by just like that.
Today was the start of the week where two of my colleagues are on leave. Been chasing this client for money for the past week but he kept replying me that he'll pay before the event "as usual". I was sandwiched between 'spoiling' the long-term relationship with this particular client as well as my colleague who kept asking me to chase for payment. I was debating whether to drop another email again and perhaps threaten a little but boss did it instead! Gave him a call and spoke nicely and all but the guy just kept saying he can be trusted and even said my boss is putting him in a spot when asked to pay by today or at least by tomorrow. Hello, i emailed like weeks beforehand?! -.- Anyway the result was boss 1, client 0. They came to pass the cheque in the afternoon. Haha.
Also had this customer coming to the office in the morning to complain. "This is ridiculous?! I have been waiting half an hour for the car park coupon! $&@%^&#$@" Oh the horror for the door-opener aka me. Turns out that she wrote an email complaining about the situation as well. Haha, my boss had to double check with me the reply she should send to appease the customer. Such a small matter really. But complain also good lo, like that earn free $50 voucher. :/
Oh, i also received a call looking for me today! I misheard my name as my colleague's and i told the client that she's on leave. But since it was about booking of the atrium which i know how to handle, i talked to her awhile about it. That was when i realised the person on the phone was someone i interacted with before via email and that the person she was looking for was me. Hahaha. But it was really pleasant talking to her. Everyone should really learn how to ask things nicely, makes the world a happier place. I was really glad that i could help her in return as well.
:)
Overall today was not as bad as i thought but i'm really thankful tomorrow i have half day as well as the Christmas PH! Yipee!

Boss got us a cheesecake from the new tenant.

Shared with a colleague! This costs about $7.35? Expensive uh. But pretty yummy!

Ending this post with my handsome Tiger.
^^
PS. Damn worried about the release of results tomorrow.
