Just realized i totally forgot to talk about the meet up with my childhood buds.
On Wednesday (23Jan), Benjamin whatsapped a photo of his final theory test result slip in the group chat.

Benedict then whatsapped his school notes.

Darren did the same for his home baked pineapple tarts.

And then Benedict started spamming food photos.
Poor me who was having lecture from 12-4pm straight did not have lunch at all, and my tummy was already rumbling even without the pictures as a form of external stimuli.
:(
After lecture, I met Benedict at Dover to head home together. And being a sweet friend, he actually bought McChicken Burger for me since i was complaining about my hunger. Aww~
:)
Headed home, and because Benjamin was really happy about his results of his final theory test, he decided he wanna watch movie and don't mind treating all of us! Wanted to watch Gangster Squad but there was limited timing and my mafan sister ended school late and still wanted to come home to bathe and eat first, so we ended up watching Cloud Atlas at Cathay. I didn't have any idea what that movie was about, didn't know that it was M18, much less didn't realised that it was a 3 hours long movie.
:O
When we came out of the theater, it was already 11.30pm and all of us were rushing to the mrt hoping we can still catch the last train. Hence, we didn't take any pictures together.. The movie was okay i guess. It has its meaning, but it's pretty difficult to grasp. Haha. Thank god for the subtitles, otherwise i'd be clueless as ever whenever i watch Englishy kind of shows (british?)
Oh, and i chopped 3 inches of my hair on Friday. It's damn unruly now. Haha, but it feels lighter and less tangled. Attended Nicky's 21st birthday party yesterday, and i was glad i did. But i shall leave the details for another day.
Granny just came today to stay for 2 days. Dementia is a horrible thing. I feel so sad when i see her feeling so scared when she don't see my mum in the house. She starts searching for her shoes, her son (my uncle) and what's not. And it's really a test on my patience whenever she wants me to off the fan when the weather is so hot, switch on the light even though it's early afternoon, she'll also ask me to off the tv and when i do, she'll insist in having the switches be turned off too. Certain times she's 'too full' to eat anymore, other times she'll be searching for food cause she's 'hungry'. Mummy was also making tau huay just now, and when we just poured it into the individual containers, granny started asking me to eat it before it turns cold. I kept explaining that it has to be harden before eating and we can't eat it while it's hot, she wouldn't listen. Kept scolding that when it turn cold would not be nice, and then said when she started eating tau huay we also have not been born into this world yet. Sighhhhh. It's scary.
Which reminds me to the 'Jia Ba Buay?' scene in Money Not Enough 2.

It's actually not so funny if you were the 'victim'. Haha.
This is part and parcel of growing old though.
Granny, please be healthy and get well soon!
