Countdown at Rachel's!

How did you spend your last few hours of 2012?

It rained the entire day but i still made the most of it! I went over to Rachel's place at around 5 plus in the evening. Explored the area a little, and i personally think that it's huge and pretty! The pool, the playground, the gym, the sauna etc.

We went to the gym to burn off some fats. It was my first time running on a treadmill. Hahah. Not easy. :/ I haven't ran in years and it was pretty tiring. But i made myself to run at least 2.4km and then stopped to do the cycling thing. After that my legs super jelly. And then thought i should exercise my arms too. So we made used of the dumb bells!

But we ended up playing more than working out...Haha.

Didn't go for sauna in the end because it was quite late already. So we bathed and had dinner while watching the tv and talking. Not long after, we went to pick Wei Jin and Carol from the mrt! And then after awhile, Rachel had to pick the rest up after their badminton game!

While sitting at the sofa, i can't help but keep looking at Rachel's statue dog which seems to be staring and smiling at me. Lol.

We had supper which Rachel's parents kindly dabao back for us and watched television programmes. We drank a little alcohol, which i didn't remember the name of the drink. But it was pretty strong. Haha, i think Carol bought the wrong one because at first she was telling us it has low alcohol content and is nice to drink. Probably mistaken sparkling wine for sparkling juice? Anyway we girls drank a bit and all of our faces got a bit flushed and our bodies were hot. Haha, but we weren't drunk.

Then we went downstairs to walk walk and play sparklers! Experimented writing with sparklers which we failed the other time!

 And this turning thing which was a hell lot of fun! Or maybe i like turning stuffs too much. Haha, i didn't even feel dizzy after all that vigorous turning. Have to grab on tightly for dear life though, i almost got swung out like what happened to Zs because he was trying to protect his phone from dropping when Wj spun us around damn quickly.

This is how we actually look and feel like at 2-3plus in the morning after drinking and playing.

We look like we're taking a family portrait. I'm in the middle of the two couples which kinda look like i'm the mother of Wj and Rachel, while Carol and Zs are my daugher-in-law and son-in-law. Hahaha. And Zx damn mean, said Ee Lin looked like a maid if she stands at the side...

So Ee Lin sat at the front. I should have just sat on the floor like Ee Lin. Then it'll look like one couple got one child each. Hahah.

Last few hours of 2012, and first few hours of 2013 were spent with my lovely friends.
I couldn't ask for more.
