One twelfth of the year has gone.

One twelfth of the year has gone. How time flies. Come to think of it, i still can't quite believe that Chinese New Year is this Sunday! I kept thinking that it'll start on Monday instead of Sunday. But when cny is over, i'm pretty sure school workload will be in full swing. Quite dreading it, but i'm taking baby steps and still trying to meet my resolutions where i try to enjoy studying more and complain less. Haha. School's so far so good, really. I feel that every lectures for this semester seems to be very informative(?). There's practically no time for me to stone into space while the lecturer rambles on because whatever they say seems important and isn't in the notes. Thus, in the end, i'm scribbling throughout lecture, with my messy arrows all over the notes. Especially for land law.

I prefer this way though, because time flies rather than having me to check my watch, counting down to the time the lecturer would dismiss us. Except my business module, not sure whether it's because the class lasts for 3 hours or that my lecturer doesn't really talk about theory stuffs. Mostly discussing about real life examples and telling us stories. It would be good if he discuss the theory then bring in real life examples instead. His style of teaching is interesting yes, but somehow easy to listen (and forgotten) with nothing to write down. To me, that is bad... It doesn't help that the lesson starts at 9am, which means i would still be in my groggy state. Thankfully, Rachel lent me her notes which i think will be very helpful! :) Plus all lecturers seem really nice, i am quite satisfied. ^^

I think i'm pretty good at looking at the bright side of things now. Lol.

Managed to meet Rachel and Bear on Thursday for lunch at Just Acia in school! The place was really packed during lunch hour, but we still managed to get seats after awhile! Enjoyed the food as much as the company. Ice cream ftw! But i think it induced the cramps i had the next day. :/ My Thursdays are long because of the 4 hours break in between my classes, so i'm damn idle on those days. Planning to meet bg for lunch this coming Thursday! (Hahah, not i initiate one hor.) BBQ steamboat reunion dinner with the usuals on Friday too! Whee~

Saturday was my baking day, whole day baking spongecake and chocolate cake. Then went to the nearby singpost to collect my parcel, and also went to Phoon Huat to get more baking ingredients. In fact, i was so busy that i totally forgot to renew my library books. -.- Now i have library fees to pay...

Spongecake was for daddy's birthday which was on Sunday where in the morning, i got up to whip the cream and design the cake! Next time have to buy fresh raspberries rather than frozen ones though, the quality is super contrasting. Or maybe i'm just particular like that.

Looks not bad right~?
Hahaha. I personally think it's okay, but there's definitely room for improvement!
:)

After cake cutting, we went to Malaysia to have lunch and shop for groceries. Although cny is nearing, there's not much atmosphere. My house seems so deprived of cny goodies this year as well. Where's my hei bee hiam rolls, pineapple tarts, bakkwa etc?!?

Anyway even though i've been catching up on my Running Man episodes with my sister, i made an effort to study a bit and to do tutorials and projects. Not bad not bad, *pats own shoulder*. I just got to keep up at this pace and i'll be fine.
:)
