Some not so sensitive issues of the week...

On Sunday night, had an impromptu dinner with daddy's friends! An uncle treated because he won lottery. Initially wanted to go to Park Royal to have buffet but it was fully booked, so they settled for seafood at some stall in Toa Payoh. Had things like crabs, fish etc. And since they didn't have any desserts we went to Creamier to have ice cream (daddy treated)!!!

 

We reached at about 9plus and they close at 10pm. But look at the queue!!

 

Omg. As if I haven't queued enough on that day. (the garage sales)

 

But we still queued anyway. We ordered 13 individual scoops. ($3 each, +$0.80 for Premium) No waffles because as you can probably see, the place was full. The ice cream are not too bad! Will go back for their waffles someday. And they are very clean??? Saw them closing and they cleaned the place so diligently that I'm pretty amazed. They even wiped every single chair. Not bad not bad.

 

On Monday (28/7) , daddy brought us to Tampines to look at some sports fair at SAFRA. We bought some shorts and daddy bought a pair of shoes! Then we headed to Changi Airport T2's Swensen's because we had a family gathering again with the relatives!

Anyway because sissy have not found a job for the time being, relatives have been asking and my 婶婶 in particular has been pestering her with that topic whenever she sees her. This time she was so harsh to even demand my sister to send her the resume so she can edit for her and to source jobs for her. It's 'nice' of her really, but the jobs she offered were like selling shoes or working in a Korean restaurant etc. Which were not what my sister was looking for. So sissy was so stressed that I saved her by excusing myself saying I need to go to the loo (I was seated inside) so sissy have to make way for me and she took that chance to slip away with me. She broke down when we got to the toilet. Sigh.

 

I guess in a year's time I would be in this position too if I don't find a job quick enough...
