Updates.

Wow, more than a week since i've last blogged. Feels longer than it actually is, since i used to have the habit of blogging regularly. Not that i've become lazier, but school's really very hetic currently. All the mid term papers and datelines of individual assignments, group projects, powerpoint slides for tutorial presentations etc. Almost going crazy. Almost.

Well, i've survived that week. Yet i can't say that i can 'rest' now because workload just keeps piling up. I mean, look, i still have 3 group projects to work on where two aren't even started yet. Powerpoint slides to prepare for group presentation, a weird game-cum-group-project and all the tutorial preparations. Sighhhhhh. Never-ending, really. But i guess i could take a breather right now because i accomplished quite a few things this weekend, and if i just keep pushing on now i might just breakdown.

BREATHE.

Right, so besides all those boring school stuffs....

Tahir actually drove me to school on one of the days where i had early classes. Gave me an additional 30mins to sleep in! ^^ He had to send his sister to work and the car for servicing in the late morning, so to kill time in between, he offered me a ride. Awesome right? First time sitting in a car that he drove! Pretty safe speed i'd say, not what i expected, cause you know guys.....most like to speed. Wouldn't mean that i'm accurate, cause i'm so used to speeding it's like a norm to me. Thanks to my dad. In fact, i'll get a little frustrated if the driver's too slow. Haha. Too slow = green light still don't want to drive pass the traffic light, but drive sooooo slowwwwly until it turns orange and just nice have to stop for the red light. One of my pet peeves, especially when i'm running late. Tsk.

I also decided to go for the follow-up of the allergy study i did last semester just to get the $10 Co-op Voucher again. Haha, typical singaporean. Time-consuming, but it's quite interesting to know more about my body i guess. Afterall, because of the allergy test last semester i got to know that i was allergic to dust mites and palm oil. Did one session on Wednesday (13/03) where they tested the pH and water losing ability of my skin. Another to be done this coming Wed.

And i went to Genting again on 9-10 March with my family. Yes, again. Haha, because daddy had a free room for a night, so we went there for 2D1N. At the most unappropriate timing too where the week after that weekend i had a quiz and all those datelines to meet.
-.-

But i really just focused on relaxing instead of worrying about the pile of work back home. While i did manage not to think about school work, i didn't really enjoyed to the full extent because of mood swings. Lol. Must be pms. Had severe cramps on the second day that i had to pop 2 pills.

Wanted to watch ABTM2 so badly but it wasn't showing yet in Genting. Same for the cartoon movie, The Croods. So we ended up watching Snitch which was not that interesting. Kinda kept having fastfood on this trip. Didn't get to eat our dim sum at the usual restaurant because of the long queue. We had a lot of Starbucks too, which is extremely awesome when we needn't pay much by using our genting points. The new drink, Asian Dolce Latte (hot) is awesome by the way. Bought 2 cups of it over there. The eclair was so not worth the money, not nice one. The blueberry cheesecake was also so-so. The chocolate raspberry cake and banana chocolate chip muffin we got the next day was super yums though. Bought so much that the Starbucks staff gave us a complementary Starbucks card! To be used in Malaysia only though.

Haha, the shades which could be worn over my specs. So convenient and a good form of protection! When i took it down, the sunlight seems especially glaring that i just want to wear the shades everywhere. Lol.

While on the way back to Singapore, i spotted a full rainbow! It was so pretty that i stared at it until it cannot be seen...

Also, went to the pasir ris yesterday to check out the dogs on adoption because one of the farms was closing. All dogs were females, not sterilized, not in 100% pink of health and above 5 years old. What struck me was that these dogs were probably being 'used' to breed so that cute puppies born can be sold. And then when they are of no use they are being abandoned. It sounds like they were putting the dogs on adoption because the farm was closing, but perhaps the real reason is to give away these dogs because they are becoming a burden. Saw a dog without a paw, limping away. Although most aren't in the best of health, they were all so excited and......cheerful. Makes me just wanna shower love on them. So poor thing, these little creatures. Sometimes we humans are too inhumane.
:(

I'm making every effort to cuddle/give chin rubs generously to Tiger and Thunder.
I still miss Lightning terribly. So much so my heart aches for him.
And i can only wish Kitty isn't suffering out there alone.

I still look for your face in the crowd
Oh if you could see me now
