Ex-neighbour whom we can't recognise...

Just had a good laugh.

Our ex-neighbour (probably a year older than me) came over today to check on their tenants and to service the air-con. He said hi to my mum from far (so polite!) Apparently mummy came up and told us about it and said she doesn't know who exactly is it. Actually, they are a family of seven, which means there are a total of 5 children, 4 boys 1 girl. This was a boy. Sissy and i was quite clueless too, because truthfully speaking, we don't hang out with them much when they were staying here, except when they were playing with my brother.

We kept guessing, and even spied at him from above when he walked out and back in the apartment again. Super hilarious when he was shaking his head to sweep his long hair aside and sissy and i got a shock. We were like, "Omg!" and ducked in case he saw us. Hahaha. Mummy was so thick skin and curious that she went up and ask who is he.

Him: I used to stay around here...
Mum: Haha. I know you stayed here, but out of the 4 boys which are you?
Him: Oh, i'm John.
(somehow they end up in the house...I think my mum intended to pull us into this when we refused to accompany her to ask who was he)
Me: *mouths to sis* Who is John?! I don't remember!
Sis: I don't know!

In summary, the whole situation was pretty awkward, especially for John since he was standing in the middle of our living room. My family vs him. Haha. I was more of amused rather than awkward which i guess it's because he look extremely tall and quite different from what i remembered. Hmm, actually i can't really remember much, just some vague images. Lol. Apparently, it wasn't just me. Even my brother can't remember him. -.- So he had to explain to us that he's the 3rd in the family, aka the second son. Ahh, with this explanation, the whole thing seems much clearer to me.

Anyway, he finished serving NS and is in SIM, year 1 now. He seems more sociable than in the past! Somewhat remembered that we don't really exchange much words in the past compared to his 2 younger siblings..

Went to the library earlier on today with mummy and sissy, and as a result....

This was without the last minute addition of 3 books on cats.

We are a family of bookworms.
;)
