A long overdue post. Thought i should quickly post about it, otherwise i probably would drag till after cny. Haha. Alright, here i go....
Nicky had his birthday party on 27 January which was on a Sunday. At first, i was still contemplating whether to go since it was quite last minute, and i might have things on. But then the day before, plans changed and my Sunday was free. Since Dora and Sandra was going, i thought i could just share the present with them. Was kinda scared that it'll be awkward because not a lot of F2-2 peeps were going since the guys have to book in. But Nicky's a good friend, it'll be mean to not go even when i'm free, so i decided to go! Anyway his theme was pretty easy - Checkered Chic!
I met with Dora at Tampines Mrt, and we waited for Abie who managed to come to meet us 30mins later. Sandra was supposed to meet with us as well, but somehow after awhile, Dora said she'll meet us at the chalet straight. So the 3 of us walked to the bus interchange where i checked and confirmed that we were supposed to take Bus29. I also pointed out that the number of stops are a lot, like probably about 30+stops. Then Dora said we could take Bus19 too, i checked the number of stops and it was much fewer, so we decided to take Bus19. Coincidentally, we bumped into Lester who said he's on his way to camp. He took Bus29, which came first, so we just waved goodbye. No idea why none of us suggested to take Bus29 to accompany him. Lol. Bus19 came, after taking our seats, we were shocked to see Sandra 'popped out' who said it's mafan to have her mum to drop her at the chalet. Haha, then 4 of us talked so much that we missed our stop. Hence, we got stranded in Changi. We were debating whether to take bus back or to just walk, we stuck with the latter, depending very much on gps. Technology ftw! Then i checked my phone to see a missed call from Lester. Couldn't figure why he would call, so i just returned his missed call.
First thing he said was, "EH, i think you all took the wrong bus leh! You all should take Bus29 you know." So i explained that i do know that, but we chose to take Bus19 because the route is shorter. He then gave me a long story of how he bump into Yu Xiu on the bus who called Nicky who invited Lester to come at the last minute. So apparently, at that time when Lester's talking to me on the phone, he was already at Nicky's chalet. While Dora, Sandra, Abie and i were still stranded somewhere in Changi. :/ I kept asking for directions, like where is the place near to etc because Lester was seriously starting to freak me out by constantly telling me i'm damn far away from the chalet. He still wished me luck and wanted to hang up the phone. -.- I was like, "Eh, at least help me ask Nicky whether is it near Changi Village la!" Haha, damn evil, he just kept thinking i am too street dumb or something. He's not helpful at all, so Dora and i depended on the GPS and walk all the way where we finally saw the entrance and asked the security man where's block B. He was nice to point the way and we finally reached!
JinXuan and Jeredy were about to leave when we get there, so we saw them and Nicky at the gate. Dora and i wanted to shake hands and wish Nicky happy birthday but he ignored us! And then he went straight to Abie to talk to her and shake her hand. After that was Sandra, whom he hugged. Dora and i was like, "What about us!" He still ignored us. T.T My hand was still outstretched, looking pathetic. Lol. We're too invisible already. In the end, Dora just went straight to hug Nicky. Hahah. After which Nicky seemed to notice me already and gave me a welcome hug. :)
Went in to the place and i was excited to see kin ing, gina they all! It's almost like F4-1 girls reunited! Haha. Went to get food. Best part of the food was the eclair! Omg, my favourite please! It was nice that all the GM people were seated together. Half the time we were talking and another half was spent stoning at cats roaming around the place.

Cake-cutting commenced. Nicky gave his speech and all. Took photos and distributed the cake. Nicky's guys friend went to cake smash Nicky's face and his mother was quite appalled, saying that the cake is very expensive and it's such a waste. Hahah. Awww, his mother damn caring of him la. Super cute one.
While taking photos, Nicky had a hard time thinking who to take pictures with first. So he's like, "Those who know me first...Sec2?" Xinxin then said, "Hello, i primary 5 leh!" Haha! So we ended up just taking a whole GM shot.
I could barely bear with the agony of my position. My legs were practically trembling. Lol.

The photographer is a damn nice guy! Kept taking photos of us and he couldn't be in the photos much himself. Sandra was taking self shots of us and he even came and asked if we want him to help us take. Sandra said no thanks because we just like to self shot and she even invited him into the picture with us. Lol! That's so Sandra. ;)

Either Sandra's phone damn pro or her self-shot skills damn pro. First time seeing so many of us being able to squeeze into a photo without much difficulties at all!

After eating, some left, leaving some of the GM people and a handful of his guy friends. We were all standing or sitting around, and Nicky went to get chairs for those standing around. Someone joked that we should play musical chairs (i think it was Sandra) and Nicky was so onz about it. Lol. All of us gave the are-you-serious face. But he seemed so upbeat about it that we didn't want to disappoint him.
Haha, so all of us played.
Kinda fun leh! Super old school. Nicky's guy friends are damn funny also la, all of their comments made me laugh. Oh, they wanted to throw water bombs at him and his mother actually sensed something was wrong and pointed the guy out before he could throw the water bomb. "You want to throw water bomb is it! No wonder i lost so many of the plastic bags! I wanted to make ice with it you know!" Hahahaha, adorable right! Super epic.
That's about it i guess. I had fun. And it was really nice talking and catching up with the F4-1 girls. Not that awkward actually! Felt quite bad leaving the place even though it was already quite late because when we left, all the GM people left together, leaving only the handful of guys behind. Poor Nicky chose the wrong day la, almost no one could stay over because it was a Sunday. Hugged Nicky goodbye before rushing off to board the bus.
Most of us came to the conclusion that we won't be holding any 21st party. Too tedious. Haha.
