Life after finals is AWESOME!

Haha, it's seriously great to have no stress to bug me all day.

Friday night daddy even tabao-ed hokkien mee for supper! Yums~

Can't wait for my sister to finish her mid-sem test on Monday though. So many things i want to do with her! But for now, i can only entertain myself at home by watching shows, reading books and baking! Mummy is the best, she usually helps me by washing all the utensils. Baking can be quite a chore. Using so many bowls, spoons measuring cups etc. Don't play play. However, achieving successful results is daebak! The satisfaction you feel!

So Mummy and I baked banana cake yesterday! I wanted to bake banana cake since ages ago! Banana cake is damn 香 and yummy and healthy!

But i usually don't have the time or there's no banana at home. But this time i think Mummy intentionally went to buy bananas and told me she wanna bake. Plus we had the perfect recipe from the library book we borrowed, so why not? I pestered her to do it early if she wanted to bake because i was going to head out with the usuals! (Finally a proper meet up!)

By then it was already 2plus in the afternoon, not much time till i have to leave the house. So i practically did everything zoomingly (self-invented word) together with Mummy, my perfect baking partner. Hahaha. Not long after, i have the banana aroma filling the house. Loveeee the smell. So after a few minutes of cooling, it was still warm but i was just too impatient and went to cut and taste it. Yums! In no time we were cutting and everyone came to have a bite. Although my brother is generally the kind who likes whatever we bake, it always feels good to hear him say it's nice and prove with actions by eating and eating and eating. Haha.

A picture of the remains when i reached home. I forgot to take a photo of the cake when's out of the oven. :/

Then i requested to bring some for the usuals to try. 他们很有口福. Hahaha. It was still warm la, then because i hurriedly packed into a container and wrap with aluminum foil, the water vapor made the cake slightly damp. Still edible though! I couldn't stop myself from sniffing the aroma when i was on the train. Lol. The cake garnered a lot of good comments from the usuals too. Rachel's comment best! Said it was comparable to those atas bakery standards. Awwww.

Anyway the day spent with usuals was by roaming around MBS, eating and talking. But it was good to see the guys after their completion of field camp. I'm sure they have learnt a lot and matured through the process. And it was good for Rachel and i to be completely free from studies. We needn't be mugging hard before heading out, or going home to greet the mountain workload.

Haha, yes, this is life.
