I've been experiencing good things nowadays that sometimes i am quite shocked. I mean, i'm usually damn unlucky one lor. Like seriously. But these days it's different! Let me just tell you 2 instances...
1. Monday night i had work. As usual, mundane stuff. The auntie at Mr Bean gave me a cup of soya bean milk! She was complaining about some customer so i guess it's something got to do with him. Then boss came in to assess me, part of a process so that my pay can at least increase a dollar more per hour. The auntie at Mr Bean was like asking me was that my boss when the boss walked away, and then whether i want to bring 2 boxes of beancurd back. I declined at first, but she was saying that it'll be thrown away in the end...so i said okay. Lol. Not supposed to do that la, though throwing it away is a waste... So the auntie is damn nice taking the risk to let me bring home the leftovers! Heh, and i made everyone at home happy by feeding them the beancurd.
2. Okay la, this one i quite boliao. I went to participate in this giveaway which this girl from overseas is really good at doing handicrafts! Damn nice and cute. I was a little hesitant in participating this time because:
One, where got so lucky to be the winner out of hundreds or even thousands of people?
Two, it's a hoop and i actually prefer stuffed toy.
Three, i have no particular favorite fictional character.
But in the end i decided to just go for it (while i was in genting). Since i didn't have much ideas on my mind, i saw the dust cap that my sis got my from Taiwan and got inspired to chose Scrumps as my favorite fictional character. It's perfect for the circular hoop, plus it's quite rare, i didn't see anyone who commented about Scrumps but a few asked for Stitch. Well guess what?!?!? Today i was browsing through tumblr when i came across a photo the girl uploaded. A Scrumps and Stitch Hoop! Then i was thinking, "Isn't Scrumps what i requested?! OMG, is it because....i won?!?"
Saw the caption and i saw 'Tan'. 99.9% it's me. But cannot! Life always has a way to disappoint me. So i went Facebook to double check. Lo and behold, i AM the winner! Oh-my-god. Randomly chosen somemore!!! So i think today i've just experienced what it feels like to win a lottery. Haha. I'll probably receive it in a week's time, so when it arrives i'll post pictures of it! It's damn cute one. Not posting the picture the girl uploaded because i just like keeping you in suspense. Lolol.
Okay, i'm so afraid that lady luck will stop smiling at me because i'm too over my head about the change of luck. But still...i'm just too speechless (not literally since i've already typed a bunch of words out..) by the sudden good luck and just really want to note it down so that in the future when i'm back to the forever-unlucky me, i will look back to this day and remind myself it's not that bad since i had my share of good luck already. Must give the chance to others. Haha. My way of thinking la hor...

And the trip to Genting (yes, again) is confirmed today! A bit heart pain because, my god....about half of my month's money, after subtracting the share i gave to my mum, is gone in an instant. Life's unfair like that. Nevertheless, it's going to be worth it. My first trip overseas with just friends! No teachers, no parents! Yes, up till now i'm still quite amazed how cool my parents was about this whole Genting thing. Awesome max.
Went to GoldenMile with the guys to do the booking. Last minute changed plans and we decided to book the trip with Transtar instead of 5 Stars. Premium bus too, thus the higher price. There's tv! Haha. After that we went to the food centre to have dinner. Of course we had my favourite hokkien mee and avocado shake! Lol. But seriously, the guys' appetite damn big one la. Still got so much stomach space to eat dim sum after playing with my cats...
Quite excited for the trip, but slightly afraid it'll be awkward... Lucky i have Ee Lin with me man! My bus and room partner! Hehe. Gotta control my spending over there too. Parents only gave me like 250RM to spend over there. It's enough for me but my friends don't mind spending one eh, so i think it won't be quite enough, especially when we have to play, eat and play somemore. Hmm.. Feel like bringing cup noodles over there too. Imagine! Sitting on the bed, eating the hot cooked maggie mee and chatting with Ee Lin. Hahahah. Sorry, i'm fantasizing already.
