It was damn difficult to wake up today. So freaking tired. Should have slept earlier last night.. Totally went to Tampines in a zombie state. I even almost doze off while standing in the train.
After that went to work for about 2 hours before preparing and heading to SUTD for the event. Tanya texted me asking me whether i'm working at CCP because Joe saw someone like me, and he doesn't know whether to come over and say hi. Haha! But i think if he comes over and say hi, it might be a little awkward..
So we prepared some of the food, and Angelina and I went to bring the food up to the taxi stand. Hailed a taxi and we put the food into the boot, she then went back to the stall to bring up more food. To my horror, they called me to say they will take quite long for the rest of the food to be cooked, and i have to be the one to tell the taxi uncle that we can't take his taxi anymore... WHY MAKE ME THE BAD GUY?! I felt so freaking bad because before that he still told other customers to go to the other taxi behind his, since we approached him before them. *sigh* Sorry uncle.
Then Angelina came up again and we almost sat there for like an hour. -.- Damn long can. Angelina then went to get a drink, ice cream tea or something like that. We even talked quite a bit. She kept raving about mixed blood babies. Lol. By the time everything was done, we were running late, and chiong-ed to SUTD at Dover.
Set up everything as fast as possible. I was in charge of the camera because no one wants to, and it was kind of pushed to me. Boss asked who wants to take the camera and we all kept quiet. Like damn obvious none of us wants to take it la. Lol. Then boss asked a girl to take but she gave some smart excuse. Then left me and Angelina. So in the end...pushed to me. What to dooooooo... I wanted to take photos of the set up but the hungry NS guys looking at the courses came like a bunch of hungry ghosts. Haha. End up only snapping a few photos before having to serve the food. And while serving...
Voice: You're from TPJC right?
Me: (thinking "shit, who is that?")
*turns around*
Andrew: *smile* You're in the same class as Furhanah one right?
Me: Omg, hello! Yeah.. Haha.
Andrew: You're studying here?
Me: Huh? No.. I'm working!
Then we chatted for a bit. Lol, then while serving i realised the friend with him is Kenneth! Okay la, i'm not very close with both, but i know Andrew is because he's just in the class before mine, and is Furhanah and Nicky's tuition mate. While i know Kenneth since he was part of Shafi'e and his gang, and he joined odac when i was in JC2.. It was a bit awkward but it wasn't so bad really, i guess because they just talked to me comfortably like as if we're friends who just didn't see each other for so long. Lol. Yeah, usually when the other party is not awkward, shy or quiet, i tend to talk more freely and less awkwardly...somehow.
After serving, I went off with Jia Lin to talk to some of the guys to have them like the FB page and write down their particulars, and to allow us to take a photo of them. Then i got pulled by Angelina to take photos, leaving Jia Lin and Sharmain to ask about the Fb thingy. The camera was cranky though. It keeps shutting off when i'm taking photos. -.- At the end of the day, the boss still commented that everyone we took pictures of are nerd nerd ones, why no handsome ones? Tskkk.
After serving, taking photos and asking for particulars, we cleared the place and sat and talk for a bit while waiting for the bosses to be back from another event. Ended with a briefing at around 7pm++ and we had to head home ourselves. All of us were damn sian because we are all living in the East. The place kinda ulu ulu one. Kind of scary when we see blocks of flats that have no lights at all! We asked someone for directions and Angelina even asked him why the flats are all so dark, without any lights. Turns out that those blocks are going to be demolished and to be upgraded. Haha.
Long day, but i survived! At least i have the whole of tomorrow to charge up.
