Busy 'n' stressed

Another week has passed. This week was so so so busy I didn't even have much spare time to check on Instagram or reply texts very quickly during work hours. Busy with what? Well, I've been so busy with doing up slides for the upcoming presentation on Learning Day. We were more or less done and were in fact quite pleased, but after showing the slides and presented them to our supervisors, we received feedbacks... and well, we had a lot of editing to do. So much so that we did up an entirely new powerpoint slide. Tsk tsk. I even brought the work home on one of the days where I worked on it till 1am+. The following day I was like a zombie.

Bah. Dreading the presentation already.

So the more exciting things of the week were....

Had lunch at Mr. Prata and this time instead of ordering prata I tried the Egg & Onion Roti John ($3). Not bad!

Then after work Wj and Carol came to pick me! There was a jam when we made our way to Jem. Hahaha! Jam and Jem uh? So anyway Lester met us there straight since he was working around that area anyway. Another reason why we picked Jem was because we wanted to watch How to Train Your Dragon 2! In case you guys do not know, for Cathay, passion/ntuc cardholders can buy tickets at just $7 each for movies screening at any timing from Monday-Thursday! Plus there is a free mini popcorn with every 2 movie tickets purchased! So awesome please! I personally feel the size of the popcorn box is damn cute and is sufficient for 2 to share. Just nice just nice.

The movie was awesome, please go catch it if you haven't!

Had Ba Kut Teh at Westgate for dinner after the movie. Super famished!

And these are the stuffs that Wj and Carol got for me from Hongkong! So much love for me one, omg! I'm seriously too pampered by them. Cardigan, spaghetti top, green tea kit kats, paul frank pen and vacuum mug!

Budget day so I brought egg+onion bread to work! Bought coffee from nus while on my way to the office because I thought I needed some caffeine. At 60 cents, its cheaper than the ones I bought in school at Techno Edge but the cup is much smaller.

And we were back at ECP on Thursday for the whole day. Sarah, my supervisor treated us to breakfast at Old Town! Shared the kaya+ butter and peanut butter toast plus eggs with Jocelyn! I had white coffee while Jocelyn had hot chocolate. Sarah's Butter Toast with Condensed Milk was very nice! We sat there chatting over breakfast for about an hour plus? Haha, super shiok. A good htht with Sarah. After that she headed for her dental appointment while we went back to the office to do work. Not long after, it was lunch time! Headed to the lagoon with the rest on the buggy. Jocelyn and I shared a plate of Hokkien mee because we were still quite full from breakfast. Sat with Sarah and Lili and we had a good htht again! Haha, found out a lot of stuffs about other fellow colleagues that I didn't know of...

We also tried asking Sarah and Lili to take a look at our presentation slides again but somehow we didn't manage to go through everything. Another colleague by the name of Kelvin was nice to provide some feedbacks too! He was funny too by the way. Sarah was teaching us to do mail merge and both of us were standing by her side waiting for her to sort her stuffs on the computer, then he took picture of us. Commenting that we look like we're being punished. After that he offered us chairs to sit and then took an 'after' photo again. He even video-ed because the room we were in a room were full of girls. Then he sent it to their whatsapp group chat. Lol. We met the new intern under Parks who is going to be a freshman next sem! She seems sweet. And smart. Under scholarship leh!

And because we forgot to take pictures at the swing the other time....

So happy that my eyes were gone. Hahah.

:)

Friday was half day at Botanic and half day at ECP. Was supposed to be at Botanic because of the TM workshop but then it was cancelled because Lili wasn't feeling well. Quite relieved but then 躲得了一时,躲不了一世...

Then headed to ECP in the afternoon, and had lunch at Claypot Fun together with Sarah and Jeremy!

Milk tea!

The bowl of chicken was the portion that Jocelyn and I shared! The rice was uncooked lo.
):

Then they ordered soup where they scrapped the remaining rice in the pot and poured soup over it. Quite good! After that the rice tasted less uncooked.

After that went around ECP in the buggy and did reinstatement inspection for No Signboard. Such a horrible weather that I felt crappy after that.

Nevertheless, the sky yesterday was so pretty!

 So was today's.
:)
