Omg, so my vacation is coming to an 'end' now. Today is Sunday and it marks the last day of 'play-all-you-can-without-any-worries' because internship starts tomorrow. Really feeling quite sian about it since I've not rested to my heart's content yet. But I just have to deal with it huh?
So anyway, on Thursday (15 May) I went to school for my dental appointment! So I have braces now on my bottom row of teeth already! It hurts while eating initially, but now it's much better! Went to Botanic Gardens to recce the place so as to find out where exactly the HQ is. It's a distance away from the mrt!

Then on Friday (16 May) I met the guys, Wj, his brother and Lester to drive into JB! It was Wj's first time driving into M'sia, so we had to prepare a lot of stuffs. I brought my gps and touch and go card along. Haha. Thankfully the lao kok kok gps didn't fail on us!
Our first stop was KSL City! Parked the car there and headed opposite the mall to have ba kut teh for early brunch!
Then on Friday (16 May) I met the guys, Wj, his brother and Lester to drive into JB! It was Wj's first time driving into M'sia, so we had to prepare a lot of stuffs. I brought my gps and touch and go card along. Haha. Thankfully the lao kok kok gps didn't fail on us!

With satisfied tummies, we bought Godzilla movie tickets. The movie was...not very interesting? Or maybe we were all quite tired from the lack of sleep. Hahaha.
After that we walked to Holiday Plaza to walk walk around and back to KSL City to do some grocery shopping at Tesco. And since we were hungry again we decided to have an early dinner! Drove to Teck Sing Restaurant to have paper baked chicken, baby kai lan and wild boar meat. The paper baked chicken was damn good!
Headed to City Square after that but the carpark queue was super long that we decided to head back to Singapore. Anyway it was a good idea to go back early since the jam was pretty bad.
This was quite a random trip, but it's just a short one to comfort ourselves that at least we stepped out of Singapore despite not being able to go overseas. Haha.
As for yesterday, visited grandma in TTSH and then at Renci Hospital after she was transferred over. Then Daphne came over to my house to see the cats! She also asked Lester along, probably because she doesn't want to be alone. Had a good catch up with one another! :)
Today's family day quite mundane. Just had lunch together and visited grandma again at the hospital before heading home.
Oh oh! And I finished watching God's Gift 14 Days. Loved it! It's about a mother whose daughter was murdered. The mother and a former police officer actually travelled 14days back to the past, so the story is mainly about trying to stop the daughter from being murdered by finding out who was the murderer. There's so many twists here and there which makes the drama really interesting. Except that the ending could have been better...
