Oops, it's April already and I only found time to blog now because Week 10 and 11 were pretty hectic. Well, let's see...
26 March 2014 (Wed)
It was a no school day but I had a site visit to do due to some project. Damn sian thing was that it was at CCK. Super duper far! Oh well. So I met my group mates where we discussed and split the zones in Keat Hong and then went around in groups of 2 to take pictures and survey the residents. Yvette and I paired up and did our work. Halfway through, we couldn't take the humid weather anymore and we haven't had any lunch so we shared a rice bucket from KFC at Lot One!

It's not as huge as I imagined but it was big enough to fill both of our tummies! Fortunately, we decided to share!
Then we met the rest again at some PA's office to enquire some stuffs followed by a short drive by one of our group mate to the Town Council office. We couldn't interview them in the end because we didn't make any appointment. So we just split the report work and headed home from there!
The whole process took about 5 hours? Most of my Wednesday gone just like that.
27 March 2014 (Thu)
Met up early in school for a 1hr project meeting for another project which has an upcoming presentation.

The weather was really bad so I succumbed to ice cream from Mac! Tried the new peachy mango sundae and I felt it was quite refreshing although it melted so damn quickly. Smells damn good also. Haha.
Reached home to finish some work and then met up with Wj and Carol late at night. Waited for quite some time for Lester's brother to be done eating with his friends before heading to the airport together because Lester was finally flying back from Taiwan. Haha, Carol was quite upset about waiting for Leonard for so long. Thank god she went too though, so nice talking to her again.
:)
28 March 2014 (Fri)
Had only 4 hours of sleep before heading to school for morning lecture. Surprisingly I wasn't tired at all. Wj as usual was so nice that he wanted to send me to school knowing that I would have a lack of sleep. But I knew he had to send both his sister and Carol to places so I really didn't want to mafan him. Plus it was his off day and had to spend it ferrying people around! Why so nice one?! Hahah. So I went to school by myself and told him I was on my way to school already.
Really didn't feel tired at all, so I tried doing some work upon reaching home from school such as finishing up my slides for the presentation so as to lighten the mountain workload I had for the weekends. Then met up with Wj, Carol and Lester (yes, again) for dinner at Hai Di Lao! This was planned way beforehand but somehow we still couldn't make reservations because the place was already fully booked even 2 weeks before. So by the time we reached the place, we were told we had to wait for about 2 hours.

But we waited. Since we especially went down for this anyway. Wj and Carol came before and brought us there because of the good food and service. I also heard of Hai Di Lao's exceptional service from bloggers raving about them, so I was quite curious about the place myself.

This is 4 of us waiting for time to pass at Starbucks. This picture is damn blur but it's our second photo of 4 of us! The first one was taken during the first meet up where Wj introduced Carol to me. But the picture is missing, not sure where is it now. Hahah, how time flies! And I guess we hang out often but seldom take photos together uh.
And finally we get to enter the place at around 10plus! The ambience was good in my opinion!

Seafood and chicken soup base which doesn't have much difference except the ingredients?

These weren't all that we ordered! I was definitely full after that. The service standard there is really good but I had some difficulty comprehending some of the accent the staff there have. Hahaha, I really suck at understanding accents.
And then I said I didn't want the last fishball but Lester insisted on giving it to me, which ended up being dropped and it rolled on the table towards me. Not sure why, but my first reaction was to go, "Oh oh oh!!!"
*open palms to 'hope' the fish ball in case it falls off the table*
Thankfully it didn't fall. The rest kept laughing at my reaction though, at the fact that I wanted to catch the fishball instead of siam-ing it. Haha.
The whole meal was above $100. It's on the costlier side but it's worth it at least. Especially with good service somemore! Not only the staff were friendly and helpful, they even provided aprons, spectacle lens cleaner, ziplocks for our handphones and even hair ties for us ladies. So 细心 one!
By the time we were done with dinner it was around midnight already. Haha.

Ate the yam 太阳饼 that Lester got me from Taiwan for my breakfast!

Super nice lo! I personally liked this more than the one he got me the other time (milk).

Aww, got a cute paul frank keychain too. Another to add to my paul frank collection!

Went with the family to I12 Katong to have lunch and bought 菠萝包 from Canton Paradise back to eat! Yay, I love 菠萝包!!
30 March 2014 (Sun)
Family day! We went to have lunch at Sunshine Plaza and had Parklane Zha Yun Tun Mee for lunch!

After which we headed to Expo and walk walk.

Saw twelve cupcakes and they were selling for a cheaper price of $2 each! Saw the lady boss herself who served us! She's so pretty and nice. :)
31 March 2014 (Mon)
Only had one lecture because the following law tutorial and lecture was cancelled since the prof was on MC. Shortest Monday ever for this semester.

1 April 2014 (Tue)
Presentation was not as bad as expected because we realized we only had to present to the lecturer and not to the entire class. It was still nerve-wrecking though especially when he asked us questions which we didn't really know how to answer. But he wasn't mean or anything like that, just seemed a little bored though. :/
Nevertheless, one milestone down!! Celebrated by having pizza with Raihana, Xinyu and Yvette!

We shared one Hawaiian pizza which cost only $16 after discount!

First group photo for the semester. Haha.
Damn full after having two slices which equates to a quarter of the whole pizza! Actually it tasted so-so only. Lack of ingredients I feel.
2-4 April 2014 (Wed-Fri)
Wednesday was no school day again but I was studying for gem the entire time followed by doing tutorials and a bit of research for the consultation on Friday for research methodology project again. Thursday was an exceptionally long day from 10-6pm back to back. The gem test was super horrible. The lecturer was damn mean in testing all the minute details which don't matter. Tsk. Following which was research methodology tutorial, which as usual has a mind boggling subject content. Then it was RE3106 lecture and tutorial. So that marks the last tutorial for both research methodology and RE3106! Reached home especially late because the lecturer let us off at 6pm and we missed a few buses because they were too packed. Friday was a longer Friday than usual because the cancelled tutorial class on Monday was rescheduled to 2.30pm-4.30pm. After the lecture which ended at 12pm, we had a quick lunch then started to wait outside the room of the lecturer whom we wanted to consult. Turns out there were like 8 people in the room?! Waited till when it was about our turn it was already nearing 2.30pm. So we went back again after our tutorial to consult him. Anyway it still didn't help in any way because the lecturer told me total opposite stuffs from when I first consulted him. Sighhhh.
5 April 2014 (Sat)
It was 清明节 so I went with the family to ah ma's place before setting off together to the temple to 拜拜 our ah gong! Ah ma's condition is still like that. Had a good time chatting with my cousins and relatives though.

Pretty flowers mummy bought.
Pretty glad that Week 11 the hell week is over. However, there 2 more weeks before study week and then it's finals.

为什么这么快!
