Yay! Survived this week pretty well I must say. Research Methodology tutorial on Thursday wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Firstly, I was fortunate enough to not have my survey chosen to be 'criticized' during class. My 3 other friends, however, their surveys were all chosen (out of 4 chosen)!!! What is this sorcery!

Secondly, he grouped us into groups to critic on the given survey. And my group consisted of only me and 3 of my friends, while other groups had like 6-8 people??? We had to discuss and do up powerpoint slides on the spot which is to be uploaded and presented towards the end of the tutorial. As I was the only one whose survey wasn't chosen, my friends were too embarrassed and panicky that I was chosen to present the slides by myself. Tsk. I was quite worried too because our powerpoint slides were damn simple whereas others put in so much effort like they prepared way beforehand?! But guess what! Due to the lack of time, the Prof decided to skip our group!

Lucky right! Hahaha.
After that was RE3106 lecture and there was no tutorial following that because of the change in Prof. This means I get to go home earlier! Hehe.
Friday, which is today, isn't self declared off day because lecture is about statistics, so I thought I should just go to school. Damn sleepy but my brain was functioning well enough to the extent that I was able to comprehend what was being said and wrote lots of things down. But absorbing the contents is another matter altogether. Have not touched statistics for far too long! Z test, t test, population mean, sample mean, standard deviation... Whattttt?!

I hope I don't have to use any of these for dissertation...
Oh right, so I gathered my courage and dropped an email to my dissertation supervisor. He seems nice! At least until he agreed, then postponed the consultation timing multiple times. Then we finally agreed on meeting on Tuesday evening. Not the best timing, but I am not in any position to complain. Hopefully it won't be awkward. So I guess I have to do further research on my topic this weekend...
Feeling pretty productive these days, maybe except anything got to do with dissertation, which includes Research Methodology. There are still many things on my plate though, new assignments, projects, and upcoming tests. I'll conquer it all! So positive that I feel like I have time to squeeze a getaway inbetween. Hahaha.
