Eh, how come nobody blogs anymore.
):
Haha, i've been slacking on it too, i realised. Well, that's partly because vacation break isn't as exciting as it should be. At least for now. Every single day i'm living as if i've got no spine. The only time i get up is to use the computer or eat. Otherwise, i'm forever lying on the sofa/bed while reading book/watching tv/using phone. Lol. Soooooooooo lazy please. Have been reading my manga after finishing 2 storybooks borrowed from the library. I even watched anime, which i finished and i am currently chasing a korean drama which Yvette said was nice when she said she wanted to go to the cafe shown in the drama. Hahaha.
And i had the worst cramps ever this month! I thought i was going to die.
:'(
No baking activities this holidays. I don't know why i don't have the urge to bake this time. Same for reading. Reading just 2 books and i'm like 'I don't want to read anymore books for now.' Usually i could read 10 books at one go one lor. Sigh, what's wrong with me! But i'd say i'm addicted to manga! Before sleeping, i would spend hours reading it on my iphone under my blanket (free manga app ftw). Bad for eyes i know, but so irresistible. That's why i've been waking up 11-12plus these days. *shakes head*
Kept myself entertained and busy by searching what to do in Korea too. Soooooo many things and places i want to do and go! Na si wa wu ji ba ban, i wouldn't worry so much lor. On top of that, didn't managed to get the NASA award which could provide some money and i even got a bank loan. Sian max. Hence, part of me really question whether i have made the right choice. My mum's nagging voice in my head consistently repeats 'you sure this is beneficial?'. Is studying and 'beautifying' my transcript in terms of global experience just an excuse or am i just interested to just 'play' and have fun in a country which i have not been to and wanted to visit? To spend such a huge sum, is it worth it? Questions like these run through my mind repeatedly. I guess i can't jump to conclusions yet, but to experience the 5 weeks before deciding whether it's worth it. By then, it'll be too late though, money all spent. Haha. But really, there are no mistakes in life, just lessons. I'm sure even if it's 'not worth it' i would learn something from it. Probably things like learning to do my own laundry and surviving in a unfamiliar world without being dependent on my dear parents. Sure, i'm not that courageous to embark on such a journey myself (Woon, you are the best!) as 2 friends are accompanying me. But still, it's a country with a national language which i can't even understand nor speak fully, and a culture which is so very different and not very westernized either. I hope i can learn to appreciate and learn the culture though! Most probably going to meet my Korean pen pal too! Heh, I can only cross my fingers that the modules aren't too tough and that i can have my share of fun. Balance between study and play!
Right, besides all these mundane stuffs, family and i went to Bens' place for dinner on Mother's day, 12th May. We had steamboat! Apparently they bought too many ingredients and asked us over to join them for dinner. Haha. definitely one of those numerous times where i'm just envious how close the parents are since secondary school days... Dinner was awesome lor. There's even crayfish, la la and scallops! Häagen-Dazs ice cream for dessert too! #fatdieme Met the usuals for fishhead steamboat dinner at Jalan Sultan on Friday, 17th May! And on Sunday, 19th May, was family day. Daddy wanted to go to the Navy Open House but entry was only by shuttle bus so we couldn't drive in. -.- I think he really wanted to go though, we even went to Expo wanting to queue for the shuttle bus, but the queue was so freaking long! The rest of us was really reluctant because the weather was horrendous. So in the end we gave it a miss. Haha. Ended up visiting museums like Philatelic museum and Paranakan museum. Wanted to visit National Museum as well but brother violently objected to it. He hates walking and finds it boring. Tsk. Anyway, in case you don't know, starting from 18th May onwards, there's free admission to most national museums and heritage museums for Singaporeans and PRs! Like cool only! The Philatelic museum currently has star wars figurines and mascots as well! Kids really enjoy such stuffs. Saw a mascot giving the gun it was holding to a small boy who wanted to try holding it. The boy literally gave the :D face while holding it in his hands, like he's fascinated with the gun. Super cute la!!

Hahaha. My dad is very cute too.
^^
Love family days. I'd never take them for granted. To some extent i'm glad i made the mistake i did in the past. It's because of it that my parents realised that maybe they have been too wrapped up with work that they have been neglecting us and decided to spend more time with us ever since. See, everything happens for a reason. :)
Also, had cashiering training today with Rachel, and then we'll start work next week! Quite looking forward to it actually. Probably beats lazing around at home. Haha, that being said, i'd very much prefer to be right where i am now rather than busy studying for the semester. The absence of stress is the best feeling ever. No worries whatsoever.
Kinda, if i minus my worry of getting sucky grades. Which reminds me, 4th June is the release of the results...
