So i went to Genting (yes, again) with friends from 1-3 July! While i admit i can't say that it's FREAKING awesome...well, it was fun! I mean, after all it's just Genting, a place which i've been for more than 10 times in my life, not to mention i just went there like about 2 weeks ago. So how much more interesting can it be to me? Plus in actual fact, the friends who i went with were quite a chapalang group of friends. Wei Jin + Carol (Wei Jin's girlfriend) + Zi Shen + Lester + Ee Lin. So somehow there was this gap, and we can't go that crazy together because we're just not that close enough. But i'd say at least this trip managed to at least make us a little closer and know each other a little better.

Sunday, 1st July
Was pretty tired because i only slept for like an hour plus before having to wake up. Dad offered to fetch me to Lavender mrt. Awesome Dad i have eh? Met up with Ee Lin, Zi Shen and Lester and then we went to register before getting up the coach. Wei Jin and Carol was late and had to cab down to the custom before coming up onto the bus. Haiyo, i've already warned them the day before to reach before 6.45am lor.

Reached Genting at about 1-2plus. The queue to check in was quite long, so we decided to just put our bags at the bell counter and walk around first before heading back to the hotel to check in. Slept for a bit before heading out to bowl and have dinner. The wonton mee which i shared with Carol at one of the restaurant wasn't nice at all. The meat has some smell and the wonton skin was hard la. :/ Walked a bit again, played bumper car which was fun! Watched a 4D show which was ridiculously lousy, such a waste of money. Meh. Took a stroll outside to enjoy the weather and we took a photo together!
Went back to the hotel to wash up and then everyone crashed Ee Lin and my room to play cards. (Luckily i remembered to pack cards into my bag in the morning) Wei Jin couldn't tahan already, so both him and his gf went to sleep first, while the 4 of us chatted till like 3am+.
Monday, 2nd July
Woke up at 8am, prepared everything and met the rest at 9am before heading to the dim sum restaurant to have breakfast! Thereafter, we went to buy tickets for the outdoor theme park. Lester had been pestering us to accompany him to sit the space shot, but on that day it was closed for maintenance. I was okay with it since i wasn't too keen on sitting that ride anyway. But Lester totally changed face la, like so sad. Haha. We didn't sit much rides though. Plus it rained.

Bowled again. Last minute the sky cleared and we decided to sit the superman ride. Wei Jin and Carol backed out though. So it was just the 4 of us. I was pretty scared at first la, since it was my first time sitting that ride. But it wasn't that bad, in fact it was quite fun! Haha. Decided to go to mushroom farm as we wanted to play the pop pop white thing which you throw and there will be a pop sound. A childhood plaything! I know the mushroom farm has it since i've played it before with my childhood friends when we went there the other time. Haha. We took the free bus which in return we had to eat there. The shop and mushroom farm was closed though! So our main reason of heading there was gone. Ended up eating at the restaurant over there only. But thank god the food was quite okay. Bought fruits too which were soft and sweet! Yums!

Headed back to the hotel pretty early because we had nothing else to do. There weren't much nice movies too, which was really sad. Washed up and everyone ended up in our room again playing cards, eating and watching tv.
Sweet corn! My favourite snack in Genting! But this time it was more of like salty corn than sweet corn. Thanks to Lester la, ask for more butter.. Lol.
All were tired and went to sleep except for Lester who seems like he didn't want to sleep early. So being nice friends, Ee Lin and I accompanied him to Mac to have 'supper' at like 2am+. Haha. Slept at 3am+ again.
Tuesday, 3rd July
Last day! Met at 9am again. Checked out and left our bags at the bell counter again. We wanted to go to the mushroom farm again, just to get the pop pop thing. We decided to walk there but we didn't know the way! Walked a distance and was damn tired. But we managed to see a magnificent view. Breathtaking.
Then we decided to just walk back to the hotel. Wanted to take cab but then the driver quoted us 75RM to and fro to the mushroom farm. Of course we rejected it since it was a ridiculous sum of money. Tsk. So we called the number which was on the namecard the driver gave us the day before. He came to pick us up again, in return we had our breakfast cum lunch over there. And we bought our pop pop thing! It was damn fun throwing it. Hahah. Love it! After throwing we chiong back to the hotel to collect our bags and then registered at Transtar to get ready to head back. Journey back to Singapore was somehow worse than that the journey to Genting because i couldn't seem to find a comfortable position to sleep. And now i'm experiencing aches all over my body because of that. *sigh* Reached Singapore, had dinner at Bugis and then headed home!
Really enjoyed myself! And then there's the post-Genting blues. It's like after being back in Singapore, it feels as if there's nothing much to do and it's so boring.

I'll get over it soon though.
7-8 years of friendship with them (except Carol). And counting.
Hopefully there'll be more trips like this to come!
