Give me a Pandan leaf on Valentine's Day!

My lower back is aching damn badly now. It started a few days back but today was exceptionally painful.

 

Then i decided to put on salonpas. Seems like it is slightly better now.. I don't know why on earth i have this pain, but i think it must have got to do with...skipping.

 

I only skipped 50-100 times only per day! WHY MY BODY SO WEAK?!?!?!?!? And i'm not giving excuses kayys. I googled! "Jumping rope puts too much pressure on the discs and should be avoided"  Anyway i got a feeling it's because i jumped 'crooked'. I realised i tend to rely on my right leg to do more jumping. Lol, omg, i can even suck at skipping. :/ I think i'm not suitable for any exercises. Sigh, it's not like i didn't try ok...

Anyway today was the first day of Sem 2. I didn't slept well thanks to the mosquitoes which bit me everywhere, making me itch so much. It doesn't help that i have 3 lectures of 2 hours each, back to back. So i had lectures from 10am-4pm, without any break. Which means, no lunch. *stomach grumbles*

 

But the lecturer for General Biology, LSM1301, was humorous. He prepared so much stuffs that I was quite amazed. Can totally see he's so passionate about teaching. *take my hat off* This is the kind of teachers i love, and willing to spend the freaking large amount of school fees. I don't pay so much and get those crappy teachers who don't give a damn about whether we understood anything or not, and all they care about is themselves! This is especially the case for foreign teachers, and from which country? *coughs* I think you can make a smart guess. Okok, i'm digressing. Haha. BACK TO TOPIC! The first lecture was on Plants. And he brought a lot of plants! Can see he tried to be funny too, that's good, can prevent me from drifting off to sleep.

Scenario 1: (talking about flowers)

"Why do guys give their girlfriends roses on Valentine's Day? *holds a rose up* Is it because of it's colour? The nice appearance? Then why not give this...? *holds 3 purple leafs* Why not give these to your girlfriends for Valentine's Day. Nice colour also what. If not because of that, then why? Why rose? Is it because of the fragrance?" A random guy nods his head. "I saw someone nod his head. If it's because of the smell, why not give this...? *digs and hold up a bunch of pandan leaves* Pandan! Nicer smell!"

LOL. Yeah, now you know the meaning behind the title of this post.

Scenario 2: (talking about leaves)

Leaves can be huge! Like this one. *opens a door behind him and brings out a huge leaf*

(It's like O-M-G cause we can't believe he still had things in there and that he brought such a big leaf!)

So big right! *throws on floor* I have an even bigger one! *opens door again and BRINGS OUT AN INCREDIBLY HUGE LEAF*
(incredibly huge = taller than any other man)

Hahaha, we were really staring incredulously and laughing our ass off.

Scenario 3: Sink & Source

Background info:

Source - produce sugar more than being used.

Sink - use sugar more than producing it
It's like i earn money, my income, i produce money. Then my daughter, likes to buy 20 shoes, 20 headbands, 20 clothes etc. Uses more than supposed to. My money! My money!
(repeating the "my money" part damn funny. He says it in a ke lian + can't-believe-his-daughter-spend-so much-of-HIS-money tone and expression. Hilarious!)

 There's a lot more stuffs that he brought that i didn't typed it here. So can you believe it?! It's like he brought the whole jungle la! Kayys, i'm exaggerating. But still, you know what i mean.. And I realised i kind of recapped the lecture's content in this post. Haha. Good for me cause it helps to refresh my memory. Good for you cause you learnt something didn't you? Like the Sink and Source thingy. Lol.

No school tomorrow and i made a mental note to do some reading tomorrow. So guai right! ^^
