Warning!: Lengthy Genting trip post

Heyyyyyy, i'm back from Genting!


Back in Singapore
and i feel December is passing by way too fast!
):


Enjoyed myself in Genting.
Though it can be boring at times,
But at least it was overseas.
Better than not going anywhere i guess..

Went there with the usual people
aka my parents' secondary friends & their family.
aka with my childhood buddies.
(adults gather, the kids also gather)

and omg, ikr, my face freaking FAT.
I'd like to think it's because of the morning bloated face

and not the usual fat face of mine.

Trying to make my face look slimmer, lol.

We reached Genting pretty early.
Then we went to the temple.
It was drizzling, but we just walked under the rain

looking at all the structures showing the 10 Chambers of Hell

It was cold~

Bought herbal tea egg to eat.

The adults did their stuff.
Like buying the incense coils etc

While the rest of us just sat around

eating the free sweets and chatted.

Benedict had a monster beats earpiece.
Bought with his own $$$
And he's like...3 years younger than me?
Not heart pain meh?
Haha, we were all trying to test the quality of it.
Not bad~
Uncle John still did a little shoulder dance.
Super funny and cute.

We were kind of delayed over there because of the rain.
But after awhile, we realised can take a lift to the car park

So off to the hotel we go!

First world hotel's decorations.

Small toilet...

Reached the hotel room where everyone napped

while i stayed awake throughout
Not because i wasn't sleepy, but because no space for me to lie down.
Lol.
That's the problem of having 5 members in a family...

For dinner, we went to kopitiam to eat.

Ate rice with some dishes.
Then went to bowl.
Woa, so long didn't touch the bowling ball.
And to be specific, i think i only bowled like 3 or 4 times only.
So when i bowled that day..
I suck like hell.
Almost every ball went into the drain.

All the guys were like teaching me the techniques.
Lol.
Damn paiseh sia.
Then i just switched with my mum

since her shoe size similar with mine
With the excuse that i want to let her play
Haha.
But i swap back again after awhile.
My sis after awhile also very cui,

then she swap with my dad.
But i think he went to change the size of the shoe

because it's too small

After bowling, the boys want to play pool.
My sis and i was like --> O_O
Erm, we don't play pool.
And because whatever i play, i'm damn lousy at it.
So i don't bother learning.
I've went with friends several times
but i've never touched the stick at all.
All i do is sit a corner and watch.
And the other time i did that in genting with them...
It was damn boring!
Like the time crawls really slowly.
So i declined, and said we'll head back to the hotel to bathe first

While they play, then we'll meet again later.
 

At this point, the time was 11pm ++

So my parents, my sis and i went to the room.
After washing up, my sis and i were slacking around

deciding when to go find the boys
When the door bell rang

Then the boys was like complaining they wait so long etc

So apparently, they thought we're going to play with them

Just that we wanted to go wash up first.

So they ended up not playing their pool

and wasted their time waiting around.

Lol.
Communication breakdown.

Then sissy and i changed into jeans and head out with them again.
We decided to play a inspired version of Running Man.
Hahaha.

We split into 2 groups.
Sadly, i was with the youngest 2.
Benedict and my lil bro.

PART 1:

Each group will use only 1 phone,
to take pictures of 10 items in the hotel lobby

& shopping centre within 45mins.
PART 2:
Then we'll meet up again to show the other group the items

Each group has to memorise the items, 

find them and take a photo within 45mins.

The item has to be at the exact same place.
If different, it will be considered wrong.
This time, if one can take a photo of the other group

minus 1 point

If a photo is taken with members not stick together,

minus 10 points.

No running, only brisk walking.

When we played this game.
It was like 1am++
So the shops where all closed.
And very few people were around.
The first part where we took pictures were still okay.
The second part was nerve wrecking!
Like we're so scared to bump into the other group
And we kept keeping a look out.
When we saw the other group we would walk damn fast.
Benedict and my bro just ran.
And i'll be like shouting after them to walk and not run.
And i got really tired and breathless from running

So i kept chiding benedict

Like why must we run, can't we just take a photo of them?! etc

Lol.
And the whole scenario was really funny cause we're like running

holding a phone, taking pictures, on a look out

looking really nervous etc.

People who were still in the shopping centre were like staring at us

And my group asked the security guards twice

about places that we want to find
They replied twice saying that it's closed.
And we're like, "Yeah, i know, i just want to know the where is it"
So ridiculously funny.
I'm sure the guards were thinking what the hell are we up to..

Throughout the whole process my bro was complaining

"Why must we play such a stupid game etc"
So he was quite useless.
He didn't help much.
:/
Mind you, he loves watching Running Man

but like i said, this is an adapted version

So it's quite different.

But in the end, we still won!
Mainly cause benedict knows all the ulu places

and because we took pictures of really difficult items.

Like No smoking sign with very little of background etc

Haha!

C'mon, their team so strong!
They have the eldest, Darren,

who is 3 years older than me,

and also the one who think up of the game

so confirm will have some tricks up to his sleeves.

Plus my sis and Benjamin

who is like 2 and 1 years younger than me, respectively.

My team..
Me - 2nd oldest but damn street dumb.

Benedict - 3 years younger than me, but street smart

Bro - 7 years younger, not interested in the game

Lol.

After that we head to Mac to eat.
Because my bro was complaining about feeling hungry.
By then it was 3am++
Yeah, we're damn hardcore when we're together in Genting.
Always staying up super late.

After that headed to the hotel room and crashed.

Second day!
Woke up pretty early, like 9-10am++

Went to book movie tickets for Mission Impossible 4
Then to Hou Mei to have lunch.
I think their food so-so only lor.

But the Ribena float, not bad.

After that adults and kids split up again.
Indicating to meet at the same place at 5.30pm.

We went to arcade since Benedict wanted to.
Benjamin, sis and i mainly just followed around.

While small Ben and bro played.

Then we bumped into our parents

where they played the games which if you succeed, can get a toy

(not those machines, then collect tickets kind)

They got addicted with the shooting game.
Where you have to shoot the 3 plastic bowling pins

off the plate.

Shooting it down is one matter.

You still have to shoot it OFF the plate.

Plus have to shoot ALL 3.

Damn difficult.

Uncle John was so funny.
When Uncle David made him try one time

he took very long to aim

and the gun was like shaking/moving in circles.

My dad and Uncle David was like making fun of him

when *shoot*
One of the bowling pin got shot right off the plate.

We clapped and laughed like crazy.

Hahaha.

The adults played for awhile and wasn't interested anymore.

We were still kind of engrossed in the game.

So we split up again.

Big ben wanted to try the game again

when Uncle David came back and pulled us to another side

Claiming that they found another better game.

So we followed.

This time, it's 6 tins stacked in a pyramid shape

You have to use plastic balls to hit it down.

1 plastic ball - 3 credits

(i think?)

3 down - small prize

all down - big prize

My dad was super pro at this.
First try he won a hippo for the Bens family

(since is they paid for the game)

The second time others tried,

only 1 tin was left.

So only managed to get the small prize.

But my dad bargained and ask to buy 1 more ball

The person gave my dad a ball

Apparently the card has no money left

So while she's still trying to scan the card

My dad just threw the ball and tin was hit down.

The person was nice though, she just gave it to us.

So...

we won another hippo 

and the Bens' family gave it to us!

Then we met at 5pm++ to have dinner at some restaurant

which always have people queuing up before it's open.

The food not bad.

The waitress serving us was really good

Gave her some personal tip. 

Haha.

Then we went to play the tin game again

To win another hippo for Darren's sis.

BUT.

They put something in the tins to make it heavier!
Kena scammed.

My dad did the first throw

and was shocked that it didn't hit down anything

Others tried, even Benjamin who threw once in the afternoon

and hit 5 tins at one go couldn't hit down any this time

So we were convinced they did something to the tins

Since the balls are the same.

So only managed to hit down 3 tins and won the ugly small prize..

After that movie~!
Brought tidbits in, all of us still ate even though we just had dinner.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE IS DAMN NICE.

Pretty long, but i like it!

RM13 plus free snack.

And it's Tom Cruise some more!

How awesome can it get?

He's old, but he's face still maintained so well...

Though his body is a little....what's the word...fat?
I can't find the right word to describe it.

After that we went to do some shopping.

Darren and big Ben went to some pub to watch soccer match

They asked me if i wanna go too

since i'm like above 18

Watching soccer is still okay

but drinking alcohol doesn't appeal much to me.

Usually if you go a pub, main reason is to drink right?

Not to watch free tv..
So yeah, i declined.

My sis and i head back to bathe.
While lil bro and small ben went to lan shop

(but in the end too ex they went to arcade, again..)

I head out with the Bens and my bro to Mac again at 2am++

While they eat, i just stare into space.

(i was being 'forced' to come out)

Only went back to hotel to sleep at 4am++

I slept all the way till 11am++

With slight disturbance here and there

by my parents getting ready to have dim sum for breakfast

(which was really sucky, i heard)

and by the Bens and Bro who came in

and disturb saying want to play bowling again

So by the time i woke up,

it's time to pack up and check out.

On the way to mushroom farm to have lunch.

Bens bought the thing that you throw on the ground then will 'explode'

I hope you get what i mean.

Haha, it was damn fun throwing at each other

relieving the childhood days.

Then after that it's a ride all the way to JB.

KITKAT on the way to Genting and back to Singapore!

This is pumpkin flavoured.

I think it's nice!

I like it.

We had dinner at some place which was damn difficult to find.

But found it in the end after going around in circles.

Only their specialty dishes were good.

I like their beehoon best.

Yeah, as you can see.

I ate a lot over there during the past 3 days.

I feel so much FATTER.

:/

And i realised we didn't take any group photos again!
So no pictures of the other 2 family friends who went with us.

And all photos are taken by my iphone again.

Too lazy to lug my dslr along.

And oh.

Got my results today via sms cause i subscribed to the push sms.

Was really reluctant to open it.

But i am relieved that i didn't get any Cs.

(Especially PF)

A little disappointed that i didn't get any As.
(Especially for RE biz)

It's all Bs and B+s

It's okay i guess.

It could have been worse.

Thank you lord.

I'll work harder next sem.

I'll try, at least.

Woon, i lost the bet.

Actually i realised to fail means getting CAP 2.0,

which is....a bit impossible right?

But at that period of time i was damn scared la!
Haha, faster come back next year!
I owe you ice cream, or what did we bet about?
Hmm, i'm getting old...
