Inner wishes for a friend.

So, here's what i've been preparing the other night!

So anyway..

In case you're wondering what is that..

It's something i prepared for my beloved friend, Eelin!

She flew off to Australia this evening already!

)':

I took half day leave

and met Carmen at Nex to collect a the necklace we got for her.

Ate KFC and then head to the airport.

After meeting Eelin there,

we went to Macs to sit and eat.

Her family was there too, so it was kinda awkward

And i felt a little mean,

as it seems like we're 'stealing' eelin away

They probably wanted to spend more time with her

But we were talking to her and laughing at a separate table

I actually tried to redeem myself by offering to take photos for them.

so that everyone can be in the photo..

Although it was abit awkward and uncomfortable

because they kept looking at us,

but they were all really very nice!

Sister helping us take photographs.

Cousins offering food.

Parents buying food, talking to us, thanking us, even said bye etc

Even her aunt and granny were so nice.

Saying thank you for coming, saying goodbyes etc.

See, just by my description of Eelin's family,

you probably could guess what kind of person Eelin is

even if you dont know her.

:)

So anyway, Carmen and I hugged Eelin behind her family's back

(literally)

I could feel a rush of feelings then.

But i tried to hold those tears in.

But after that, when Eelin was hugging her family members..

One of her cousin actually cried quite badly.

Omg, i totally almost cried right there and then.

But i turned away and stopped it before Eelin could see it.

I felt that i had to be strong in front of her.

Because who knows, maybe she's feeling afraid?

Leaving everyone she know behind.

Embarking on a journey alone.

Feeling doubtful whether it's the right decision?

So on an so forth.

I didnt want these kind of feelings to foster.

So i thought sending her off with a smile

would let her know that we'll be supporting her always.

Knowing she'll do her best over there

And then come back to share the good news.

To let her know we'll miss her dearly

but despite being miles and miles away

we'll still try to keep in contact.

(technology ftw)

And of course, that she will never be forgotten.

Haha.

Okay, i dont know if she can sense this la.

These were my unspoken words.

But she'll see this post soon enough.

When she gets wi-fi over there

(hopefully soon!)

Okay, i'll end here.

I'm going to post another entry just dedicated to her!

Ps. Carmen and I were the only friends there to send her off.
She told the rest not to come, and us too.
But Carmen and i were very stubborn
So we just went.
We both share the same opinion.
"Siao ar, of course must send her off la.
Not going to see her for so long leh!"
Haha.
