I've been really lazy with updating this space. Partly cause I was busy with school and my personal laptop is showing some signs of aging already. And the crappy connection doesn't cover my bedroom area. So if I had to blog I have to use the new shared lappy in the living room, which is just inconvenient uh.
And complicated matters these days are just meant for me to ponder about in the private space in my brain. Blogging would make me feel better but i'm quite aware there are plenty of 'silent' readers out there. Lol. Plus it's really unfair when readers know everything about what I done, went, eat, feel etc and I know nothing in return. Tsk. Though I know I'm so going to regret it in the future when I refer back to this period wishing to find out something but I did not blog about it. Haha.

Alright, so let me back track to several days back...
I survived the horrible Week 5 with so many presentations etc. One of the tutorials we had to prepare two presentations despite only having to present one. We didn't know which one we had to present because the tutor would make that choice. Thank god we presented on the retirement village assignment rather than the Yujiapu one. Gosh, our final conclusion was to carry on with the project while all other tutorial mates opt for exiting the project. Hahahaha, we're damn lousy man. Or maybe just too optimistic. It would have been super embarrassing if we presented on that.
Thursday (13/2/14)
RPM tutorial was also scary. The prof assigned questions to the names he called out and gave us some time to discuss before having to present. Fortunately, i was chosen to do the relatively easier question. And not for the debate one. Haha. It dragged really long though and the tutor let us off late at 6plus! ): Was rushing home after that because I had a dinner with the childhood people! The stupid bus took damn long on that day. And when it finally came, it drove past my bus stop because the bus was full!!!

So instead of heading back home to bathe and change, my dad came to pick me up Aljunied mrt before heading to NSRCC. Dinner was at Jumbo! I probably haven't met them since last cny. Lol, exactly a year uh!

Us and my parents. Celebrated my dad's belated birthday.
Haha, can you believe i'm the 2nd oldest out of these bunch?! The adults weren't in this photo with us because we were too big a group. Anyway, I call them my childhood buddies because the parents are secondary school friends and we kind of go to Genting together almost every year since young. Although certain families are closer where it's usually it's a split between mine + Bens' + Darren's vs Bon's+ Marcus's. My sis overheard my mum's conversation with Bens' mum on the phone the other day. They were talking about how Bon and Marcus side all are attached whereas our side (aka Darren, me, big ben, sissy, small ben) are all single. Lol? Anyway it was a good time spent although previous years were more fun because we all would usually head to someone's house after the dinner. But since this year was on a Thursday where most have work or school the next day, we headed home. Added Bon, Zon and Marcus into our whatsapp group chat. Instagram as well for Bon and Zon because we added Marcus last cny. Haha.
Friday (14/2/14)
Pon-ed lecture the next day so I headed to the library in the morning with Sissy to return the books she and mummy borrowed. Then to ICA to collect my passport. I didn't book appointment so we waited reallyyyy long. Went to Bugis to have lunch because we wanted to sing K.

Yoshinoya!
But then the place we wanted to sing k at was fully booked by the time we reached. Sian ttm. So we headed home and watch our dramas instead. Haha. Headed out in the night for dinner and ice cream at Katong!
Monday (17/2/14)
Was super blue-y this day. Even tripped and almost fell. My sandals almost gave way but thankfully it wasn't that bad so I was still able to walk home in them.

Nevertheless, one-for-one ice cream in school cheered up me pretty well! $3.70 per scoop. As I shared with Yvette and Raihana, each of us only paid about $1.20 each for 2 scoops of ice cream!
Coffee oreo and cookies and cream flavor! Super yums! After seeing the cup, it looks super familiar to me until it dwelled on me it's the same ice cream that I ate on Friday at Katong. Lol. Didn't struck me in the first place because the outlet at Utown had 'BING BING' in front of the 'Ice cream gallery'. It's nicer than the other two flavors, rum and raisin & cappuccino almond, that I ate on Friday though.
Friday (21/2/14)
Self-declared no-school day again. Especially because I was burning midnight oil the day before to chiong for the interim report which the deadline was on this day, 4pm. Met Wj and Lester for lunch to celebrate Wj's 22nd birthday! We headed to Chye Seng Huat Hardware at Lavender for brunch.

All 3 of us ordered the Huat Breakfast. And an additional croissant and 2 Flat White.
After that we went to the nearby Windowsill in the Woods for desserts. Super full though, so we only ordered a slice of s'mores pie to share. Then we made an impromptu decision to watch The Lego Movie at Amk Hub! Yay, been wanting to watch it since it came out.

Super cute and meaningful plot please! I like!
"Everything is awesome! Everything's cool when you're part of a team! Everything is awesome! When we're living our dream~~"
Hahah, the lyrics of this cute song got stuck in my brain after that. Went to pick Carol up from her school after that. She looked super tired.
):
Also received an email that day that i'm allocated to National Parks Board for the graded internship. kind of reluctant to undertake a graded internship because it means I have to do well and there's a project component! But I shall leave it up to fate uh. See if NPB would accept me, hopefully without any interview! Haha. Am crossing fingers that Yvette and I can work together!
Saturday (22/2/14)
After having lunch at Goldenmile with family, made a last minute decision to accompany Liangquan to shop for a new pair of soccer boots. Been quite long since I've saw him anyway! Hehe. But the weather that day was horrendous!

Hot like siao.
Sunday (23/2/14)
Went to M'sia with family! Had porridge for lunch at KSL City mall, went to Tesco to string my brother's badminton rackets, bought cheap shoes, drank Starbucks and grocery shopping!

Bought donuts for quite cheap too! Each costing less than a dollar. Not bad eh, quite soft!
Had dinner at Ah Kong Restaurant which sells fishball noodles. It's supposedly very famous but I think it tasted just like any other fishball noodles uh.
Oh ya. And I came back to Singapore receiving bad news. The lecturer sent an email saying 3 groups have yet to submit the softcopy of the interim report. Yvette asked in the group chat just in case and turns out that nobody uploaded the softcopy of the interim report on IVLE.

Super sian ttm lo! Yvette and I presumed that the person who did the cover page and sent us the final interim report would upload it. Or at least my friends who printed the hardcopy for submission. But nobody did it!! Penalty would be incurred from this somemore. Sigh.
Tuesday (25/2/14)
Met Lester to accompany him to get stuffs from Chinatown! Headed to bugis first to 拜拜 because apparently today is some big event for Buddhists I think. Usually my family would buy stuffs at Venus Beauty which sells relatively cheaper products like shampoo all those. But the place at Chinatown which Lester brought me to really sells cheap necessities! Most are cheaper than those at Venus Beauty! Omg, found a good bargain!
^^
Shucks, almost half the recess week is gone...
