September babies.

Just realised i missed out on Tyn's 21st birthday party in my previous posts. Haha, so i'm going to include hers here too! 

8 September (Sunday)

Her party was on 8Sep which was her actual birthday. Headed to Aloha Loyang Garden Terrace together with Wing Yi and Tahir. We got lost along the way. Walking, taking bus, then walking again. -.- It wasn't my first time there, but seriously, the place is too far from the mrt and ulu lo. So when we went home, we just cabbed down to Pasir Ris Mrt straight. Lol. That venue isn't that good uh. First the location, then the ventilation there is pretty bad. Not sure how much it cost to book the place, but if it is quite expensive, i'd say just book another place. Seriously. It's not even huge.

That Tahir went around talking to people we don't know. He even went to talk to yn's uni friend saying, "You're Minjie right!" While she was like, "Yeah, you're Tahir right!" Apparently they both stalked each other on Instagram or something. Hahaha, that's quite creepy...

28 September (Saturday)

Then 28th Sep was Zi Shen's birthday party at Amk, Grandeur 8. Weijin came to pick me up, then drove to Lester's place to pick him. 3 of us went to Kallang Bahru's hawker where wj ate his late lunch while we waited for Abie to be done. Kat came to meet us and we picked Abie! After which, wj drove to Tampines to pick Carol. Lol. Poor Weijin, i felt quite apologetic because Abie and Kat came along with us because of me. But as usual, he's super nice la. So 4 of us girls squeezed at the back and headed to the Grandeur 8 together!

The party was not bad! Zs and Rach even provided childhood snacks and card games which helped to entertained us a lot. Loved how there's aircon and space for us to sit throughout too. ^^

We helped to packed everything because everyone had to clear from the venue at a certain time. Then we realised that they didn't make use of the photo booth props that they prepared! So 可惜! So we took the props out and started goofing around instead... Lol.

Finally got chased out by the security man. Some of the guys went to watch movie, while Wj sent the rest of us back. He was probably damn shagged la. Dropped Abie somewhere in Orchard, then dropped Kat at kallang leisure and the rest of us to our respective homes. Then there was a stupid reckless taxi driver who almost banged into us. Tsk.

29 September (Sunday)

Next day woke up super early to have wj to pick me up again. We went to Carol's place, bought bread and teh tarik for breakfast, met Carol then went to fetch Lester, who was having his party on that day. Went somewhere to collect the speaker from Lester's friend, then to Bedok to get extra disposable utensils from my Aunt's shop, had lunch at the nearby hawker and then went to Parkway to have his balloons filled with helium and last minute shopping at Giant. While walking towards the car at the Parkway carpark, one of the balloon burst. Omg, money spend to refill it just flew away... But i was telling Lester lucky it's not the blue one which is his favorite colour. Haha. After everything, we headed to NSRCC. Super tired on that day la, Carol and i dozed off at most parts of the journey. NSRCC although was not super big because it's split into 2 storeys, but it's pretty decent i think! Air-conditioned and reasonably priced! Upon reaching there, we settled and positioned most of the stuff and then wj, carol and i just kept blowing balloons until we're out of breath. The balloons have some damn disgusting tasting powdery stuff lo. When i licked my lips, it's like super yucky! Blew like no tomorrow. Tied the balloons until fingers turn red as well. Partly because I think the balloons colour came off. :/

After awhile, Lester's brother and their friends came. We felt awkward so 3 of us went up the the room to chill. Then birthday boy came and consult us on how to put contact lenses. Hahaha, took him quite a while to successfully place it into his eyes. He wasted quite a few also, but fortunately it's free lenses anyway. He went off to continue his stuffs while 3 of us went off to Changi Airport to snack at KFC. Being there made me feel like flying to somewhere again. ):

Headed back to NSRCC at about 6 plus and many people were there eating already! Basically i ate, then helped Lester to take some photos with my dslr. I offered to lend him my dslr, but somehow ended up being the photographer also. First time doing such a thing and not like my photography skills were damn good, but 好朋友, 如果要帮就要帮到底对吗？Lol, but I was damn slack also la. The whole thing was pretty disorganized, so certain times i just stood with my dslr in my hands looking retarded while Lester try to get his group of friends to take picture with him. Wj and even Zhong Wei were so nice to look out for me though, they kept offering me seats to sit and wait. At times, Wj also offered to help to take the pictures. As for Lester, he kept having to find me/my dslr. Oops.

Long speech, cake cutting etc then we finally headed back at 9pm++ since we were quite tired. Jun Siang came along with us so that Wj can drop him off at the place where he's supposed to book in. Was seriously so tired i collapsed in bed after showering especially since i had lecture at 9am the next day...

 30 September (Monday)

Monday was not a day i would look forward to, but i survived, as usual... 9am to 6pm, i really admire myself. Hahaha! Thankfully no tuition scheduled after that, otherwise i might just drop dead. The scary RED tutorial where my group was the 'board of directors' and had to comment on the presenting group, i conquered it and went home feeling chirpy. Lol. I thought i wouldn't have anything to comment on but i just gathered my courage and commented when the professor asked if i had anything to add. (time was already running out) Thing is it's not the prof who is scary, it's the peers in my tutorial very competitive. Almost every single one had things to say lor. -.- So we ended at 6pm and not earlier like i have hoped.

 1 October (Tuesday)

How time flies, it's October already! It was my first Tuesday having to head to school for tutorial from 3-5pm. After which i had tuition with my student till 7.30pm. Apparently Lester just woke up from his nap and called to see if we could have dinner together. But I'm really not the kind of friend whom you can call last minute to have a meal together la. Hahaha, i swear Tahir did this last minute thing to me so many times but i never once did i say okay. Lol, and that's because my dearest mummy cooked my dinner already uh. Cooked with love leh, how can last minute say want to eat outside then eat outside! Anyway, since Lester kept saying he damn free because of his block leave and asked to jio him out whenever i'm free, i told him Wednesday should be fine for lunch/dinner. 

 2 October (Wednesday)

Then i got lucky, i didn't even had to go to school in the end! Prof changed his lecture to become e-lecture which i finished watching on Tuesday night itself (25mins only! ^^). Already decided to skip the 1hr dissertation briefing after asking friends if i could copy notes from them, but apparently the briefing was postponed to Thursday as there were quite a number of people who also proposed to change since they didn't want to head to school for just an hour of briefing. Super shiok! So i met Lester for lunch. Supposed to go to old airport road but in the end we settled for the turtle soup near my place. He said he didn't tried it before and that it smelled nice. I used to have a lot of turtle soup with my family and it wasn't my first time trying the one near my place! Haha, first time got people more sua gu than me! It's nice but turtle soup can be pretty pricey. He insisted on paying to 'thank me for my help on his birthday party'. We had desserts at Rochor Beancurd stall, this time i die also paid for it! Just sat around chatting, got drinks again to quench thirst. Should have gotten the soybean milk or grass jelly instead of the ice lemon tea with jelly/ honey lemon with jelly. Those tasted damn artificial, super regret buying them. :/ Chatted till i wanted to get home to prepare for tuition. Then guess what, student last minute (30mins before, which was the time i was about to leave my house) called me to change the timing again. Sigh.

Tutored and then Wj and Lester came to pick me up and we headed to NSRCC again. Carol didn't join us since she wasn't feeling well. Lester brought us to some dining area near the sea. It was pretty dark, the first thing i felt was the sea breeze. Then the seats along the sea was lighted up with blue lights. I was thinking to myself until Wj read my thoughts and said "为什么带我们来这里？Like inappropriate sia. You should bring your future girlfriend." Hahaha, it was really quite funny lo. Nice atmosphere but the romantic feel was pretty inappropriate for 3 of us to be there. But still, dining by the sea was really nice although all i saw was blackness. Ordered deer meat, vegetables, cereal prawns and crabs!

 The crab was a disappointment. Damn ex and no flesh one lo! First time i ate crab until so pekcek. Not much flesh 就算了, when got flesh it got stuck onto the shell and took me a lot of energy just to get it out. -.- Cheat money... Deer meat and the vegetable were not bad. Cereal was good, but not so for the prawns. Lester's treat again. Actually in my opinion, I was a super bad photographer during his party la. But he still whatsapp-ed me on Monday, thanking and apologizing for not entertaining us much. And then he still gave us treats when he probably spent a bomb on his party lo. Aiyo, but at least it goes to show he didn't take us for granted. :) Eat till full full, chatted and then picked wj's sister from Marine Parade. Wj was tired, so they halfway swapped and Lester ended up driving. Reached home pretty late, bathed, studied a bit and slept. 

 3 October (Thursday)

Woke up early for school, then received a text from Lester asking if he could collect my dslr's memory card from me otherwise the entire day he would not have anything to do. Quite last minute as i was about to leave house in 15mins time lo. Asked if he could come before that and he said okay. Funny thing was that he said we can go have breakfast together. I was like, "Where got time! Unless you eat super fast." And he's not a fast eater for sure. Lol. But knowing me, he knew i didn't eat breakfast and ended up buying 2 pink peng kueh for me. Plus chilli and sweet sauce somemore. Then cycled over to meet me. That was despite my constant "No, thank you. I don't want. I'm going to be late! Can you just come without anything??" replies. Lol, seriously. Both him and wj always think i'm on diet or something. Anyway i only ate them after lecture ended, which was about 12.30pm. Too embarrassed to eat it during lecture because the smell was just too strong. Surprisingly, the peng kueh was still damn soft when i ate it! Super nice! Unlike the previous day which my mum brought from the market yong tau foo stall lo. That one hard hard one. And instead of breakfast, those were like my brunch. Lol. Met Abie at Vivo after the briefing to get Carmen's present. But after walking and browsing through the shops, we decided to just get her Capitaland vouchers as we really didn't know what she would like....

 4 October (Friday)

School from 12-6pm. And had lunch at Macs with Xinyu!



And then had tuition at 7pm. I reached earlier since mid term ended earlier, so i whatsapp-ed the mum to ask if i could start push forward the timing. She saw my text but didn't reply me. Fine, so i called her. Didn't pick up. Tsk. Called the house to check if the mother's home, but she wasn't, so i asked my student if she wanted to start earlier. I wasn't expecting a 'no' since she usually would want to start earlier and end earlier. But apparently she went, "Cannot la, 7pm la." Sigh, so i had to stone at the library till 7pm before heading to the house. Damn sian, because i really wanted to end earlier and i was so tired and hungry. ): Guess i was too cranky, so i was pretty strict on that day. Lol.

 5 October (Saturday)



Dragged myself out of bed to study thanks to the conversation with Tahir. He's so much busier and tired than me, so i can't have the right to complain. Even though he's doing things he likes while i am overwhelming myself with boring studies...haha. Met the usuals for lunch at old airport road. Went there with Lester on Xiao Hei and reached there early. Had lor mee, kway chap, oyster omelette, wonton soup and apply yakult~ Fat die me seriously. Wj and carol dropped me home after that! Tried doing some work then prepared to head out to get Carol's present with Lester. Super headache. Walked here and there at bugis but didn't know what to get. Then we decided to rest and indulge in ice cream! Tried the Matcha McFlurry at Macs which was okay. It could have been nicer if there were more green tea powder. That's when Wj our saviour called and told us what to buy! So we went to OG and bought the thermal food jar. Haha, i guess that's quite practical since she does cook! As the ice cream was bought by Lester and i still owed him money from the lunch earlier, i paid for dinner which was the most xinku dinner i ever ate. I think i was too full from all the food so i literally had to force the food down my throat. I really hate wasting food, so Lester helped me downed some. The cups of avocado juice we bought were also just meh. It's full of coconut sugar. :/ Suddenly remembered to buy a card and then i headed home first while Lester went to meet his friends for Insidious: Chapter 2.

 Some bread that Lester made me bring home to try. Cheesecake i think.

 6 October (Sunday)

Family day out! Had lunch at Bedok, walked a bit at Expo, went to Tampines Courts and then to the west where there's a HDB community garden planting many medical herbs. Got some herbs for free (but gave angbao to the Uncle as a form of appreciation). Then had dinner at Sakae Sushi~

First time trying this! Spicy salmon, fish roes, tuna and salmon! Nice but a tad too dry.
Then home sweet home~

Phew, i'm done! Seems like i have slacked the week away.

Felt super unwell today due to tiredness and cramps. And i swear these days i keep having no appetite. I can eat until i feel like vomiting lo. -.- Oh well, i shall rest now and get up earlier tomorrow to get some work done!
