This week was supposed to be a i-think-i-can-at-least-stop-and-breathe week due to the 'long' weekend where Friday is a Public Holiday. Not much difference really, but still thankful for that one extra day.
On Thursday, i headed home early in the end. Had lunch and i took a nap. Haven't napped in yearssss. While it was good to take a nap, the nap didn't make me feel better. Instead it's one of those naps that made me more tired and sick than before. I also perspired a lot. -.-
For Friday, it was mostly spending the day on finishing up on my unfinished work. And i allowed myself some time to catch up on WGM and Running Man. Recently i'm so deprived of my Korean variety shows.

They never fail to make my day though! Sunhee couple ftw! ♥ I tend to like funny, bickering kind of couples like Adam couple and Sunhee couple. Not sure if it's because they are funny or i just like this kind of relationship. I mean, wouldn't it be nice to find someone who can crap with you at the same frequency and 'bicker' to express the love for one another? I think it's pretty sweet in a cute way... Haha.
Saturday, i accompanied Wei Jin to collect his license at Geylang Sing Post, then went to have lunch together nearby. Got home after that to continue with school work. Because of chiong-ing to edit the report which was sent to me at the last minute, i was a little late to meet the rest for dinner cum Halloween event at the Central Library. Plus i met Wei Jin's brother at Aljunied mrt first, so embarrassing to have him waiting for me. Dinner was good, ate western food and had ice cream at Tom's Palette. The service at Tom's Palette is the ultimate! You can ask to try the flavors and they show no signs of being annoyed. I always feel paiseh for this kind of stuffs la, but they were really nice and kept asking which flavors i would like to try.. In the end i ordered the Milk Ice Cream & Granny's Favourite from this Auntie who looks like a cheerful granny. She's so nice! Asked if i tried the flavour already before deciding, then smiling and thanking me when passing me my cup of ice cream. Whoa, even before eating i feel good already. Thumbs up! I loved their service so much that i thanked the Auntie again before going off. Hahah. Anyway the ice cream is yummy too! I definitely favor Tom Palette's over Udders which is overrated, in my opinion. Plus 2 flavors in a small cup for $2.88 after 10% student discount, not too bad i'd say! It was Wei Xuan's treat though, he paid even before i ordered my ice cream and refused to take my money...
We were early so we went in the library, to the children section to sit and talk. When we finally decide to come out, there was a long queue already! Omg, we could only curse ourselves for not coming out early, if not we would have been the first in line. And we could have gotten the tote bag which looks pretty decent!

Queuing for it was a long and tiring process. I was perspiring like crazy because somehow having so many people in the building makes it seems like it was non-aircon. Legs were damn sore and i just couldn't stop yawning. They gave us cards to write a scary story saying we can get a tote bag in return. Zs told me his tp friend's incident and i had to pen it into a story. I lost my touch though, how many years didn't write composition already you tell me! And i write till so xin ku in the end they also didn't give us any tote bag. Tsk.
And meanwhile, picture taking....
When it was finally our turn, we have to walk in a train formation with hands on the shoulders of the person in front of us. Lester was chosen to be the 'leader' because he's "handsome and muscular" as quoted from the person who talked to us (but we heard him saying that to the next group too. Hahah. Nevertheless, Lester like still quite happy uh.) Erms, in conclusion, it wasn't scary at all. Main reason that it wasn't dark enough, if it was i think it would have been scarier. Irritating thing was that this girl came to scream in my left ear without me knowing. That should scare me...but no, it only hurt my ear drums. I swear i had a temporary loss of hearing in my left ear. Wts. -.-
All in all, not worth queuing even though it was free. But it was a good experience i guess, since i have never participated in any Halloween event before...and the good company is all that matters.

The last meet up before WJ and ZS enlist! Sigh, i say, for the the umpteenth time, time flies too quickly. Now almost all the guys are enlisting already. Kind of sad. No more Wednesday late night suppers. ): Wondering if i would rather be in their shoes or in mine, aka stressing out from school work. No use wondering though, i am me, and me means having to deal with school work and not NS.
Bleh, officially 3 more weeks till study break.
A song i came across on the radio today. Haha, i totally like songs that can relate to me such as those bold words in the lyrics. I especially like how the last part of the song, where it sounds like self-comfort or in self-denial. So like me, hahah. So check it out!
