Retard, Retard-er and Retard-est at USS.

 

My lunch for today!

Aunt went to eat at city square.

Since she brought some grapes for me from home.

And i brought haw flakes from home..

So i just bought a 大包.

Save some money ar.

The  大包 really very 大 right!

 

Then my colleague gave me these!

The biscuit is cookies and cream flavoured!

Yummy~

So anyway, the purpose of this post is to elaborate more on my USS trip!

and you think you'll not be bored to death.

Battlestar Galactica!

 Revenge of the Mummy ride (outside) 

 Haha, queuing for the kiddy merry go round.

 Me: Look, zombie!

Carmen: It's Frankenstein....

Me: Same la, zombie is the easier term.

(Note: ignore my suppose-to-look-like-zombie face, hahah)

The very first ride we took was the Madagascar: A Crate Adventure 

A slow ride to warm up!
Quite entertaining if you ride it for the first time.

Like how the crates ALMOST fall on us.

And then the waterfall where all of us thought we're going to be drenched
and we're not prepared!
But in the end it 'parted' just in time
*heave a sigh of relief*
Carmen and i went to sat it for the second time after lunch
(Eelin went for dental appointment)
We didnt want to ride those fast rides and end up puking.
Not a good sight you know.
So anyway the second time was boring.
We almost doze off.
Haha.
Must be the effects of having a heavy lunch..


Tip: Best to sit at the front row!
Better effects.


Next we watched Shrek 4-D Adventure

I'll say it's o-kay.
I like the splashes of water

and the ticklish air blown from the small tube under the seat

(thanks to eelin i get to learn about this, haha)

But i didnt quite enjoy the movement of the seats.

It's out of sync with the show!

So it didnt really felt real...

After that Eelin's and Carmen's tummy was grumbling already.

So they bought some food.

Being such nice friends, they offered me some!

:)

After that, we started to go for the faster rides!

Revenge of the Mummy
One of my favourite.
Okay, i think it IS my fave.
Haha.
I'll tell you why...

1. It's in the dark.

2. Great effects.

3. The ride unexpectedly reversed!

4. All the sharp turns, sudden reverses and precipitous drops.

Super shiok.

Tip: Best to ride this before the Battlestar Galactica.

Great warm up!

And please do not try to put your hand into the hole of the hand rail

(or whatever you call that)

Because i had that bad experience.

During my first ride, I grabbed onto it for dear life.

That resulted in my hand getting into the hole.

AND THEN IT COULDNT COME OUT.

For 10s i was freaking out that my hand would be stuck

instead of freaking out because of the thrilling ride.

Lol.

Finally, now to the what most believed it the scariest ride in USS.

Battlestar Galactica.

Basically there's 2 tracks, the red and blue one.

We only rode the red one once.

And the blue one like 4 times?!

Reason being the red track is less scary.

It's almost lame if you compare it to the blue one.

Actually i dont know.

Because after riding once, and then riding the blue one after that.

I totally forgot my experience with the red one.

Lol.

But i know i did dare to open my eyes for my first time on the red track.

But closed my eyes for the blue track.

I only managed to open my eyes on my 3rd and 4th try.

Haha.

And every time i sat that ride

My arms would be red.

The impact against the shoulder restraints..

):

So the main difference between the two is that

The red track has a 'floor',

at the blue track you'll have your legs dangling in mid air!

Haha.

But the thing is, red track is scary because there is no shoulder restraints

You only can grab onto your seat for dear life.

(yes, that's what i did, i even grabbed all the way below, haha)

Tip: Sit at the front if you're scared!

At least you can feel the brake.

Sit right at the back if you're daring!

It'll just zoom all the way.

Queue during lunch hours is short!

So take advantage of that!

And yes, always try to pull down the shoulder restraints with ALL your might.

It's damn tough to get it down!

Out of the 4 times i rode, 4 times i couldnt pull it down all the way.

No strength.

I even attempted to use my legs.

But no avail..

And i'm dumb enough to not know how to buckle the seat belt

or how to unbuckle it.

Out of 4 times, only 1 time i managed to do it.

Malu to the max.

Totally like a small kid man.

"I'm 12!"

 Waterworld, Monster Rock and Lights, Camera, Action!

 are shows that we watched.

All not too bad.

Waterworld is something like an action drama?

Monster Rock is like a musical?

And Lights, Camera, Action! is like...i dont know how to explain.

But it's cool.

Worth a watch.

I'm lazy to elaborate already.

(quite tiring lehs...)

And it was sad we couldnt get to try the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure.

We came prepared for it.

Poncho, extra clothes and all..

But when we wanted to queue for it at 5+pm

We weren't allowed in!

Because the queuing time is a freaking 2 hours!!

(they closed at 6pm that day due to the 'grand opening'

usual hours was actually until 7pm)

So the last USS tip!

Go and ride the Dino Ride first thing you get there!

The queue would be shorter

And i heard it's fun..

So better have a go on it

And get wet!

(it'll be a good thing since it'll be hot)

Okay, one more tip!

Although it's troublesome..

Take your bags out of the locker

and set another locker after 30/40/45mins is up

(depending on the locker)

It'll only be free for a limited period.

Exceed the timing you'll have to pay.

And it'll be pretty expensive, i'll say.

So very tired on that day

AND the day after.

But i didnt regret spending so much for just a trip to USS!

Though going in threes is weird.

Still, we made the best out of it.

Three's definitely NOT a crowd.

(at least for 3 of us)

All in all, it was a fun-filling day out with retard and retard-er.

I know, i am retard-est.

"Does the lockers have locks?"
